Whispers Of Betrayal (Anastasia and Alastor)

Chapter 105

Chapter 105

“Have you read the campus forum, Jason?” Kimberly asked in a low voice. Then she added, “Well… I think the situation is bad for you. Do you want to clarify it?”

Jason took out his phone and glanced at it. Then he shook his head. “It’s not necessary. One who has a clear conscience fears

no accusation.”

“I always feel that there’s someone behind this who controls everything. It’s similar to what happened several days ago when Annie’s affairs became trending on the internet all of a sudden, and many people were scolding her.” Kimberly was a little worried. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

Anastasia also glanced at Jason worriedly.

“It’s okay. I don’t care.” Jason shook his head.

Anastasia felt a bad omen was coming. Moreover, she always felt Kimberly was right, and the situation was not so simple.

Perhaps everything that had happened really was just too excessive. After all, it started from the forums of the university abroad to the outbreak of public opinion within the country.

Nevertheless, Felicia’s character would not allow her to stop until she destroyed Anastasia.

Moreover, she would not let Jason go off easily as well.

“It’s better to be careful.”

Anastasia stayed in the hospital for three days. Before she was discharged, Alastor had not visited/her even once.

Nevertheless, Alastor came over on the day that she was being discharged.

“Did you move out all the things in the house?” Alastor frowned and approached Anastasia to ask her why she moved all her

stuff out.

It was obvious that Alastor had not been home for three days.

“Well, I want to make room for you and Felicia,” Anastasia said quietly as she gave a gentle smile.

Alastor’s body stiffened and his Adam’s apple bobbed.

Then he was silent for a long time before he spoke. “Let’s talk about it, Anastasia.”

Anastasia nodded and did not decline. “Okay.”

“What do you want to eat?” Alastor got a new car. It was clean, and there was nothing inside.

Moreover, there was no more sticker pasted on the passenger seat that indicated it was Felicia’s personal seat.

Anastasia looked at Alastor, who took the initiative to open the passenger door for her. Nonetheless, she went straight into the back seat.

Alastor stood rooted to his spot and looked at Anastasia, who was already in the car. Then he quietly closed the door for the passenger seat.

“Is there anything you really wanted to eat?” Alastor turned around and asked Anastasia.

She did not know if it was because he was too busy in the company or because he was too busy proposing to Felicia. Nevertheless, Alastor looked very tired and seemed to have lost weight.

His voice was also hoarse.

“Alastor, let’s go to the restaurant where we met for the first time and had a blind date.” Anastasia kept smiling.

However, her smile looked unfamiliar and distant.

Alastor tightened his grip on the steering wheel and nodded. “Okay.”

The first time she met Alastor was at the Epean restaurant.

Anastasia was anxious to have a blind date because she wanted to get married. Meanwhile, Alastor was in a hurry to find someone to get married to because he wanted to take over the shares in Lopez Group.

For some reason, the two of them met in the restaurant and immediately came to an agreement.

It was because each of them was the ideal type for the other.

“In the past, I always thought that relationships could be developed. But… It’s actually not true.” Anastasia looked out of the window and spoke in a hoarse voice.

“Then let’s take some time to develop it even more…” Alastor said in a deep voice.

“Huh? Anastasia did not hear clearly, so she looked at Alastor.

“We’ll start over, Anastasia.” Alastor parked his car on the roadside and spoke solemnly.

However, Anastasia frowned and looked at Alastor without saying a word.

“Has he gone mad again?” she wondered.

“I can give you whatever you want. It’s something that Jason won’t be able to give you.” Alastor spoke again.

When Anastasia heard Alastor’s first sentence, she thought that she was hallucinating or that he was possessed by someone

else.

Nevertheless, she knew that he was still him when he said the second sentence.

“Did someone provoke you all of a sudden? Or do you finally have your conscience? Do you feel bad about it because your child is gone?” Anastasia said in a hoarse voice.

In the past, she thought she would be happy to hear Alastor say he did not want to get a divorce.

Now, she finally realized that she would not be happy about it. On the contrary, she felt disgusted by it.

“Annie…” Alastor called out her name tiredly

He seldom called Anastasia’s nickname. Thus, when he called out the word “Annie, it sounded awkward.

“There will be more children. If you like children, let’s have another one. Is it okay?” Alastor seemed to be asking for

Anastasia’s consent.

Nonetheless, Anastasia looked at Alastor and laughed sarcastically. “Are you kidding me? Alastor, are you a man? Do you have a heart?”

After that, she mused to herself. The child is gone, and Snowball is gone.

How dare he say this now?

“Anastasia… I’ve let go of your past I forgave you. You can forgive me once as well. Can’t you?” Alastor was almost pleading with her. “Felicia and 1. There was only that one time. It was really an accident.”
