Mindy said, “Happy birthday, sweetheart! Your dad and I originally planned to visit you in Elgerson two days early to celebrate, but the publisher notified us at the last minute that “Seven Days‘ is being reprinted again.

“They

hey sent over three huge boxes of title pages to sign So, after discussing it with your dad, we decided we’ll have to visit you in Elgerson another time.”

Mindy felt a bit helpless as well. The new book was selling incredibly well. It was already in its third reprint, and her study was piled high with thousands of title pages waiting for her signature. Sometimes, a successful book brought its own set of troubles.

Miranda blinked and said understandingly, “It’s totally normal for my mom to be so busy ‘cause she’s famous now!” Her proud tone and expression made Mindy laugh.

“Oh, you have no idea how popular your mom is now! Recently, a super fan somehow managed to get her phone number and called, saying he wanted a signed book and was willing to pay a hundred thousand for

it.”

When Mindy took the call, Lionel was next to her, and he was completely shocked. Just to write something like, “wishing you good health” and whatnot was worth a hundred thousand? It was on another whole level entirely.

“Huh?” Miranda was also surprised. “Something like that actually happened?”

“Your mom was so stunned she didn’t know how to respond, and the fan thought she wasn’t happy with the price, so he raised it to 200 thousand on the spot. Lionel still shook his head in amazement when he

recalled it. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

“Did Mom agree?”

“She agreed to sign it but didn’t take the money. Apparently, he’s from Elgerson too!

After the call ended, Miranda noticed an unread message. It was a notification for a parcel delivery. She reluctantly crawled out of bed, put on her shoes, and opened the curtains. Snow had fallen overnight, covering everything outside in white.”

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Miranda ran to open the door, and there was a loud boom! Confetti burst. and ribbons rained down on her head and shoulders, stunning Miranda.

Winter stood there in a sleek black suit with a red bow tie. Her hair was elegantly styled into an updo, and her makeup was flawless. “Are you ready, my princess? Your knight is here to take out.”

Miranda realized what was happening and instinctively covered her mouth. She had known Winter was coming but hadn’t expected such a grand entrance.

“So, what do you think? Were you surprised? Touched?

“Thank you!” Miranda reached out and gave her a big hug. “My most handsome and dashing knight!”

Winter grinned while gently patting her back. “Alright, alright, don’t get too emotional yet! This is just the appetizer–there’s an even bigger surprise.coming.

She tapped her watch. “I’ll give you 20 minutes. Will that be enough?”

“Vest Miranda ran back to her room to wash up, get ready, and change

20 minutes later, she climbed into Winter’s car. They then drove to a highly–rated fine–dining restaurant in

the city center

As they entered, a spotlight suddenly illuminated the quiet restaurant, and one by one, crystal chandeliers overhead began to light up in a silent ceremony to welcome the guest of honor

Winter gave a deep, knightly bow “After you, my princess”

As she spoke, the spotlight shifted, focusing precisely on Miranda. She followed the markings on the floor to a window seat at the front

Winter pulled out her chair, looking every bit the gentleman in all but gender. Then, she presented her gift. Happy birthday! Why don’t you open it?

Miranda took the box and opened it to reveal a classic Cartier bracelet set with four pink diamonds. Inside the bracelet, the initials “MW” for Miranda and Winter were engraved–symbolizing their eternal friendship

“It’s beautiful! I love it,” Miranda exclaimed.
