Unspoken Love

Chapter 42 A Grand Wedding

Chapter 42 A Grand Wedding

A year later.

Brodie and Luna were holding their wedding ceremony.

Brodie had prepared the wedding in such a glorious manner that almost everyone in City S knew about

it.

Luna wanted to keep it simple and low-key, but Brodie didn't feel like it.

Luna always submitted to his wishes and let Brodie make the decision on major issues.

Brodie was a new tycoon in City S. The more glorious the wedding was, the better. He had promised

Luna a grand wedding.

He was always right.

Luna trusted him very much.

Luna's wedding dress was from her biological mother, Moriah. Moriah had personally designed it and

had asked a skilled seamstress to sew. It was embellished with gems. The dress looked so gorgeous

and exquisite.

Moriah had purchased quite a lot of dowries for Luna, such as the company shares, the real estates in

various places, all kinds of gold and silver ornaments, and all the furniture that she needed in the

house. All of them were carefully prepared. Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

Luna didn't want Moriah to bother so much. However, Moriah comforted her, "You don't understand,

Luna. I regret having prepared so many dowries for Ariana when she married Brodie. I knew nothing

back then. Please let me do this for you. I'm willing and I'm very happy. You won't know how happy I

am to be able to make up for you, even with little things."

Moriah continued and even sobbed, "When you were little, I treated you badly because you were

illegitimate. I was very protective over Ariana. So was Jessica, but I thought it was because she was

afraid that I would kick her out of the house, so she tried hard to please us. I understand now. Every

time I think of the old days, I feel scared. How lonely you must be at that time. It was me who let you

down. It was me!"

Moriah hugged Luna gently to avoid ruining her beautiful attire today. "My good daughter, how lucky I

am to be able to do all this for you, to marry you to someone worthy of entrustment, and even to

witness all this. I am actually the happiest person today!"

Before the wedding, Luna saw Jason, whom she had not seen for a long time.

Jason came for the wedding. He said sincerely, "Perhaps the thing I regret the least in my life is to let

Brodie bring you home. When you were in Los Angeles, you were always in a trance, but now you look

like reborn. The saying is true. It's up to the doer to undo the knot. Brodie and Cindy healed you."

Luna hesitated and said, "Thank you. You saved my life too. I would always be grateful."

Jason joked, "Alright then, since I'm your lifesaver, can you spare me the wedding gift?"

And then both laughed, with the past vanishing into thin air.

...

Moriah held Luna into the auditorium and took her to Brodie's side.

Brodie was in a suit, neat and elegant. He was handsome, tall, and slender. It was such a pleasure to

look at him. He took Luna's hand from Moriah and called gently, "Mom..."

Moriah solemnly gave Luna's hand to Brodie and said, "Luna is my precious daughter. She has

suffered a lot to get here, and she must live a good life from now on. If she doesn't or if you dare to

make her shed a tear, I will directly take her back. Brodie, keep it deep in mind that Luna can always

count on me."

Brodie carefully held Luna's hand as if he was holding some treasure, and said with a smile, "Mom,

don't worry, I will never give you the chance to take her back."

Moriah's heart was softened by Brodie calling her mom. She laughed and said, "Good, I hope not!"

Cindy ran into Moriah's arms and wiped her tears off in joy. "Grandma, I'm so happy, but why am I

crying?"

Moriah wiped the tears for this sensitive kid while comforting her softly, "Silly, I'm also crying. These are

tears of happiness. It's a good thing."

On the stage.

The priest spoke, "Do you Brodie Melton take Luna Covey, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to share

your life openly, standing with her in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow, in hardship and in

ease, to cherish and love forever?"

Brodie stared at Luna and said, "I do."

The priest turned to Luna, "Do you Luna Covey take Brodie Melton, to be your lawfully wedded

husband, to share your life openly, standing with him in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow, in

hardship and in ease, to cherish and love forever?"

Luna also looked at Brodie with smiling eyes, "I do."

The priest nodded and announced, "Alright. You may exchange the rings. Groom, you may kiss your

bride."

Brodie put a carefully chosen ring on Luna's finger. "With this ring, you will always be mine. I will also

follow you forever. I will never allow anyone else to put a ring on your finger. You only belong to me,

just as I only belong to you. Nothing will tear us apart."

Luna's eyes welled up, and she stared at Brodie.

And she put the wedding ring on his finger.

The two embraced and kissed.
