Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

but not this severe

Letta could only heave a long sigh, trying to control her emotions. It wasn’t just to avoid high blood pressure, but also to ensure the fetus inside her womb wasn’t stressed, especially as Marco dragged her to the boutique.

“Find the most luxurious and beautiful gown for her,” Marco instructed as they arrived at one of the most renowned boutiques Letta had ever heard of. Letta was familiar with the boutique’s name. Glamor Boutique was the top-tier establishment where even celebrities might struggle to obtain their desired gowns in the near future. They usually had to secure an appointment with the primary designer at Glamor Boutique, yet here they were, easily gaining access. Letta had no doubts about the authority Marco wielded. Even now, the chief designer and owner of the boutique greeted them, and within minutes, Letta was surrounded by wedding gowns in white, peach, and gold, all sparkling in her eyes.

“Try each of them on. I want to see,” Marco said, causing Letta to turn back and look at him, now lounging casually behind her.

“What?” Letta asked, disbelieving.

“Yes, I want you to try all of those gowns. I want to see which one suits you best in person,” Marco said nonchalantly, making Letta gaze at the array of numerous gowns lining the room.

“No, can’t you just pick one that suits me, and I’ll try that one? I don’t need to try each one, right?” Letta said, causing Marco to shake his head.

“I can judge better if I see you wearing them, so please assist her in putting them on,” Marco said again, prompting the attendant to lead Letta to the fitting room without any resistance. Letta truly couldn’t believe that Marco was serious about his statement. Was he playing a game with her right now, Letta wondered, her lips pursed.

Even the attendants couldn’t voice any objections. Letta then slowly emerged in the first gown, a white dress that covered her shoulders and trailed down to her feet, prompting Marco to scrutinize her from head to toe. However, after that, Marco shook his head.

“I don’t like the silhouette; it’s too revealing,” Marco said, causing Letta to sigh in frustration. After that, the attendant guided Letta back into the changing room to try on the next gown. Letta lost count of how many gowns she had tried on, her back starting to feel stiff and her calves beginning to ache. But Marco still hadn’t chosen a single gown from the ones she had tried on.

Eventually, Letta decided to wear the peach-colored gown. It showcased her beautiful shoulders and then flared at the waist, making Letta truly resemble a princess from a fairy tale. Even Letta couldn’t stop admiring herself in the mirror, her smile spreading widely. It seemed that Letta liked it too. But, of course, that didn’t mean anything if Marco didn’t like it. Letta even had to lift the slightly heavy skirt of the dress to take a step back.

But Letta’s thoughts seemed to be mistaken as she saw Marco fall silent, pondering, gazing at her.

“What about this one?” Letta asked, but Marco remained fixated on her appearance, causing Letta to ask again. Suddenly, Letta winced, clutching her stomach, and this brought Marco out of his reverie.

“What’s wrong?” Marco asked quickly, approaching Letta, who looked to be in great pain.

“I don’t know, but my stomach feels cramped,” Letta said, her face starting to glisten with sweat.

“In that case, we need to sit down first,” Marco said, trying to help Letta to the nearby sofa. However, just as they took a step, Letta felt the cramp in her stomach again, causing Marco to panic. He immediately called some boutique attendants to help remove the possibly constricting gown.

Meanwhile, he waited outside with an anxious and uneasy heart. A few minutes later, the attendants came out, supporting Letta, who was still grimacing, prompting Marco to impatiently cradle Letta’s small frame, rendering her unable to do anything due to the pain she was currently experiencing. Letta could only bow her head against Marco’s chest as he carried her into the car. Marco immediately hit the gas, leaving behind several guards who had been following them earlier. He promptly checked Letta’s condition, not wanting anything bad to happen to her. He occasionally glanced at Letta, who still had her eyes closed, trying to withstand the pain.

“What’s really happening? Is this something you’ve experienced before?” Marco asked, leaving Letta unable to even answer and only shake her head.

“This is the first time. Usually, I just feel some cramps, but not this severe,” Letta finally answered weakly, prompting Marco to look at her with an unsympathetic gaze.

“That means you’ve experienced it before. Why didn’t you tell me that you often get stomach cramps? We need to have it checked immediately. I don’t want anything to happen to the baby inside you,” Marco said, causing Letta to meet Marco’s gaze, which for some reason looked slightly different from before.

Letta didn’t respond to Marco’s words because she had no intention of telling him. To Letta, she could still bear the pain and didn’t want to inconvenience the man beside her. Letta also didn’t know that the pain would be this intense until they arrived at a hospital, where Marco immediately called for a doctor and carried Letta, instructing them to prepare a room for her and conduct an examination.

“Get the best doctor to examine her. I don’t want anything bad to happen to her,” Marco shouted a little, causing several nurses to call one of the obstetricians at the hospital to check Letta’s condition. Marco attempted to enter when the doctor was about to examine Letta, but the nurses stopped him. This made Marco, feeling annoyed, choose to wait in the waiting room.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

It felt like Marco had experienced something familiar like this before- the anxiety, fear, and unrest in his heart. He had felt it once in the past. After that, he hadn’t experienced it again until now when the feeling resurfaced, leaving Marco unable to simply sit calmly and wait. Marco wouldn’t forgive the doctor currently handling Letta if something went wrong. Even though it had nothing to do with the attending physician, that was just who Marco was.
