After sulking for quite a while, Adrian finally went back to his room to slee

The Moxley family members left even earlier, with Sebastian and Seven heading on, while Sormen, a

Nora and Donna, along with Norman, went to the hospital for Donna’s regular health check up

Adrian, on the other hand, was still sound asleep in bed,

The agent made several phone calls urging him to come over, but he didn’t answer any of them

Unable to bear the noise any longer, they reluctantly got out of bed, washed up, and prepared to head

over.

Upon stepping out of the bedroom, I noticed that the door to the neighboring room was slightly ofer

Adrian thought that Deborah had fallen asleep and forgotten to lock the door again.

As soon as they stepped outside, they could faintly hear Joseph’s voice. “Breakdast is ready. Go brush

your teach and wash your face before eating. What are your plans, Alyssa? Do you want to join us for a

few days in Oceanies City and then come back together?”

Alyssa responded sleepily, “I won’t be going School has started, and it’s not good to take time off.

Besides, I have singing practice in the evening.”

Adrian originally planned to go straight downstairs, grab a bite to eat, and then head to the film set.

Joseph and Deborah went to Oceanview City, but it wasn’t a big deal for him, as they would be back in

just a few days.

As for Alyssa, the Mozley family’s housekeeper took good care of her, and she even had someone to

pick her up and drop her off at school.

Donna cared for her deeply, so she specifically arranged for a housekeeper to take care of her daily

meals and living

needs.

But somehow, as if possessed by a mysterious force, he suddenly raised his hand and knocked on the

bedroom door.

Deborah had already changed clothes for herself and Alyssa, and was about to head to the bathroom

to freshen up.

Hearing a knock on the door, she peered through the half-open entrance and saw Adrian standing

outside.

Deborah immediately spoke up, “Mr. Moxley, please come in. Is there something you need?”

Adrian walked in and glanced at the two neatly packed suitcases next to the couch.

“Isn’t it just a few days’ trip? Why are you bringing so much stuff?”

Deborah replied, “There are also some things left here by Evelyn that could be useful. We should take

them all back

with us.

Adrian nodded. “I see.”

After dilly dallying for quite a while, he still didn’t leave.

Deborah didn’t even bother to expose his lie; after all, this was his home, and he didn’t need her to

invite him to sit

down.

She pulled Alyssa along, about to enter the bathroom.

Adrian asked again, “You guys have quite a lot of luggage. Did you drive here? Is it convenient to get to

the airport?”

Deborah didn’t want to beat around the bush with him anymore. She looked at him and said, “It’s not

convenient. If it’s okay with you, Mr. Moxley, could you please give us a ride?”

After some hesitation, Adrian reluctantly nodded in agreement.

“Alright, I don’t have much to do today anyway. Let me help you guys move your luggage downstairs.”

Joseph’s attention was almost entirely focused on Deborah, and he hadn’t realized it yet.

“We can easily manage with our own stuff, just two suitcases, one car is enough to fit them.”

Adrian pushed a suitcase with one hand and headed outside.

“We’re all old friends here, no need to be polite. Let me drive and help you with your luggage.”

Joseph really felt it was unnecessary, as it was broad daylight and Adrian must have his own work to

keep him busy.

He also wanted to go out with him, asking Adrian not to make this extra trip.

Deborah walked over and stopped him, laughing. “Let him go. What he’s delivering isn’t meant for us.”

When Joseph’s mind is slow to react, it’s genuinely slow, leaving him with a bewildered expression on

his face.

“Isn’t he giving us a ride? He’s also going to the airport for a business trip, right?”

Deborah glanced at him with pity, shook her head, and turned to walk toward the bathroom.

Alyssa couldn’t hold back any longer and burst into laughter behind me with a “pfft” sound.

Upon seeing that Alyssa seemed to be amused by him, Joseph couldn’t help but laugh along, even Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

though he didn’t quite understand why.

After Deborah and Alyssa finished brushing their teeth in the bathroom, Joseph suddenly walked up to

the bathroom. door with a look of sudden realization on his face.

“Is Adrian taking Evelyn? He couldn’t really be into her, could he?”

Deborah held a towel as she washed her face, glancing at Alyssa with a smile. “He’s so smart and

quick-witted.”

Alyssa couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s just a bit slower than a computer’s startup speed, I guess.”

Joseph didn’t think he was slow to react. Seeing Alyssa amused by his teasing, he felt quite a sense of

accomplishment.

Joseph was concerned, however. “Evelyn came here to help me with the acting. If Adrian keeps

bothering her in the

future, I, as the boss, would feel guilty.”

When he initially invited Evelyn over, he had said it with great confidence.

Adrian was a flirtatious playboy, incapable of having genuine feelings. When Evelyn came to Moxley

Manor, all she needed to do was to casually play along for a few days.

Alyssa earnestly said, “Adrian isn’t that bad, actually. He may seem unreliable, but he’s actually quite

decent.”

It wasn’t appropriate for Joseph to say much in front of Alyssa.

However, with Evelyn’s personality, she would want to find a reliable and steady man to live a peaceful

life in the

future.

Unfortunately, Adrian really didn’t have much to do with being “down-to-earth and steady.”

Joseph waited for them to finish washing up, and then went downstairs with them.

Adrian seemed a bit anxious, as if he was worried that Evelyn might fly away from the airport before he

got there.

He casually ate some food himself, then sat and waited for Deborah and the others to finish, his eyes

constantly

watching them.

It was hard for anyone to have a good appetite when someone was staring at them while eating.

Deborah hurriedly finished her breakfast, even though there was still plenty of time before her flight

took off.

But seeing Adrian’s urgency, she said, “Let’s go then. We should head over there earlier; maybe Evelyn

has already

arrived.”

Adrian nodded immediately, stood up, and with one suitcase in each hand, he walked out.

Joseph, on the other hand, enjoyed a leisurely time, leaving the house empty-handed.

Once outside, Adrian placed the luggage in the trunk of Joseph’s car.

Then, as if he had just realized it, he said, “One car is indeed enough. Let’s just take one car there.

When we get to the airport later, I’ll have someone pick me up.”

He played dumb, pretending not to notice. Since one car was enough to get there, there was no need

for him to go at

all.

In order to prove his worth, Adrian insisted on being the one to drive.

Joseph and Deborah Alyssa sat together in the back seat.

The car arrived at the airport, and Evelyn was already there, waiting outside the airport terminal.

Upon seeing Deborah and her friends approaching, she immediately greeted them with a warm smile.

Upon seeing Adrian approaching, her face immediately turned noticeably paler.

Adrian said proudly, “Deborah has a lot of luggage, let me bring them over.”

Evelyn didn’t pay him any attention, took Alyssa by the arm, and headed into the airport.

She carried a computer bag on her back, which was almost the same size as a backpack

Last night, while staying at a hotel, she brought her laptop to organize her files.

Adrian quickly chimed in, “Let me carry your bag for you. A grown-up like you carrying a backpack

looks Whea

Evelyn glanced at him coldly, her tone sarcastic. “No need, I won’t bother Mr. Moxley any further.”

Adrian still remembered, last night at the dinner table, he scolded Evelyn, “Can you please stop

causing trouble?”

She was holding a grudge.

He didn’t say much more, as he couldn’t very well insist on snatching her bag away.

They casually chatted as they entered the airport.

Then, they happened to see Ashton and Hector, along with a few others, walking toward the airport.

Ashton, who was injured and hadn’t fully recovered, sat in a wheelchair, being pushed by someone

It seems that they are also planning to travel to another place or even go abroad.
