The President Broken Angel

New found friend

One week later, at Rea cafe.

Jhonia sat inside the cafe looking around! Looking at all the women that come in and leave. All different styles of dressing yet she seemed to disapprove of them all until a lady walked into the cafe wearing a skirt covering her leg, a coat just as long as her skirts, her inside shirt sleeves extending to her wrist. Jhonia, sat up properly watching her. As she was leaving after receiving her coffee, she notices Jhonia staring at her, a lady in inexpensive clothing seated across her a miner distance between herself and the lady. She walked over to the window viewing where Jhonia sat.

“You have been staring at me, for a while. Can I know why?” The lady said, sitting down in the empty seat across from Jhonia and asking. She was so caught up in staring at her Jhonia didn’t realize how close and comfortable the woman had become.

“Excuse me? You can’t sit there!” Jhonia said, raising an eyebrow at the woman, she chuckles.

“I’m sorry, hehe! You were staring at me, for quite some time. I thought I must have looked like someone you recognized, by chance. Also, why is someone in such a high status as you come to a place like this?” The woman apologized and said to Jhonia and asked? Looking up and around inside the cafe, then look back at Jhonia.

“What is your name?” Jhonia asked, taking a sip of her coffee while looking over the rim of the cup at the woman sitting across from her.

“My name is Josephine, and you have yet to answer my question?”Josephine said her name and then reminded Jhonia that she has yet to answer her question?

“I’m Jhonia. Also, not because I married rich does not mean I should change. Understood?” Jhonia explained herself to the woman and asked her. Jhonia gave a small smile and drank from her coffee. The woman stared at Jhonia for some time then giggled.Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.

“You will get used to this life, also, you probably should wear jewelry as well. Oh, and one more thing. You probably shouldn’t wear make-up and this kind of clothing, when you’re coming here people will mistake you for their boss.” Josephine said to her, then began pointing out the worker, all seemed scared and watching Jhonia, every move. Jhonia then glanced at them one by one and noticed they were all acting weird.

“They’re like this, like perfect robots because you look like their boss secretly observing them. If you are not their boss, then next time don’t dress like this.” Josephine explains as Jhonia observed the workers. She then turned her head back to Josephine. Jhonia looked up and met her eyes.

“I can’t trust you, Ms. Josephine. Also, I don’t intend to. As for who their boss is, I don’t care… I was merely watching or as you said, staring at you because I like the way you dressed. Not exposing your body, my mom was like this. My coffee is finished, I will take my leave.” Jhonia said to her, she then explained to her why she was staring as she did, sounding somewhat disappointed as she got up from the table. Josephine grabs her before she steps completely away from her chair.

“How do I make you trust me?” Josephine asked? Jhonia leans down towards Josephine, her calming facial expressions change to an unfriendly one.

“Never… Touch me, never.” Jhonia said, looking down at Josephine’s hand holding onto hers and back up to her face. Josephine quickly let go and retrieved her hand. Not only did Jhonia scare Josephine but also the workers, who believe she’s their boss.

“I- I -I I… Am sorry, pu-pu please forgive me.” Josephine said, fumbling over her words as she asked for her forgiveness. Jhonia stood up removing her coat and her pants suit to reveal to everyone completely. Pure White.

“Come with me.” Jhonia said, relaxing her voice as she walked away after placing the coat on her arm. Josephine quickly stood up taking her coffee and rushed out behind Jhonia. But Jhonia stopped suddenly… Josephine took two steps back… Jhonia turns around and sees Josephine looking scared. Jhonia quickly went to her car as it seems she scared Josephine badly, after Josephine got into the car Jhonia turned to her.

“I scared you? I’m sorry, I don’t like people touching me frequently or as they pleased. You looked like what I imagine myself as when my parents died. Don’t be afraid of me, I’m not going to hurt you or anything.”

Jhonia asked and said she’s sorry, Jhonia then explains her hate’s for people touching her and calling her in. She then looked at Josephine with a smile.

“I still have my mom, my dad passed away last year.” Josephine said as she then noticed that Jhonia wasn’t looking as cold as before anymore, and smiled a bit.

“I thought you were going to make me pay for touching you! But technology I touched your coat and not your skin so”

“It doesn’t matter what you touch on me, I have grown close to my mother-in-law. So, I let her hug me whenever she seems to be happier to have me as a daughter than her son himself. Nice to meet you, Josephine.” Jhonia explained that it didn’t matter what anyone touched and then said to her, extending her arm to Josephine. Josephine stared at Jhonia’s and at her hand, she blinked twice and giggled.

“It’s fine, Ms. Jhonia.” Josephine said, quickly holding both her hands tightly on her coffee cup!

“I get that! I’m weird but if you refuse my hand to become friends now… Hehe! After today I won’t talk to you again, in fact you won’t see me ever because then you won’t get my phone number.”

Josephine cut off Jhonia, by taking her hand quickly. Jhonia then changes the ending of her sentence. She smiled together with Josephine.

“Did I just become friends with a rich person?” Josephine asked? Sipping her coffee after letting go of Jhonia’s hand.

“I’m not rich but yes, we just became friends. I won’t trust you so easily Josephine, you will have to earn it and Jhonia is just fine, there’s no need for the Ms. Okay?”

Jhonia said to her with a smile Josephine nodded! After exchanging numbers. She asked her driver to send Josephine to her stop but Josephine refused at first, but was given and had Jhonia send her home. After saying goodbye to Josephine, Jhonia’s phone rings.

“Hello!”

She answered the call without looking at the screen as she was waving off Josephine.

“Where are you?” A male voice asked? Demanding answers, Jhonia quickly removed the phone from her ear and looked at it. ‘Husband’ was the caller’s ID. She chuckled.

“Mr. Pinnock kindly re-ask your question, and asks it properly.” Jhonia said, demandingly Nearce cleared his throat.

“Did you feel like I answered to you in any kind of way, Mrs. Pinnock?” Nearce asked? And Jhonia chuckled!

“Where are you?” Jhonia asked? Sounding rather rude, she then waited and hoped he would realize it.

“I’m in the office, and I’m sorry. I sounded a bit rude demanding your location. I wanted to have lunch with you, so I called home and you weren’t there. I am sorry, for the way I asked where you were? That was very rude of me.”

Nearce said and apologized then explained why he called, but for some reason, Jhonia felt like something wasn’t right about the hold idea.

“Sorry, I have already made plans. If you still wish to eat with me? Be home by 7. I have to go now.” Jhonia said to him and asked before she ended the call.

“Do not receive any calls from anyone, keep driving for another hour or two after stopping for half an hour.. I Turned the car around and returned to the house… In fact, make that half an hour.” Jhonia said to her driver, telling what she wanted him to do.

“Yes ma’am.” The driver responded to her, as they drove off from where they left Josephine driving further into the city.
