A Little Game
Chapter 25 A Little Game
Ramos Escobar, while in his office received a report that one of the men who ransacked his warehouse and stole his drugs and other valuable items had been captured.
“Sir, we have found one of those men who ransacked your warehouse and stole your drugs and other valuable items had been captured.” The informer said.
“Oh, is that right?” Ramos asked.
“Yes, sir. He is in the same warehouse as we speak. We’re torturing him for information, but he isn’t saying anything.” The informer said.
“He need more persuasion to reveal and I know just the thing.” Ramos said.
Ramos smiled to himself. “No one can get away from me. Not even my bride-to-be Raven. I’ll find you and kill those Sanchez brothers for it’s the last thing I will do.” He said, a mean expression on his face.
“Get the car ready, we leave in ten.” He ordered.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
He entered his vehicle and was taken to another warehouse that he owns. When he arrived, one of his guys started torturing the man to get him to divulge where the narcotics that he and his boss had stolen were hidden.
A man who was bound to a chair was being tortured by one of Ramos’ men when he entered the warehouse. He was definitely in pain as blood was streaming from his face.
Ramos ordered the man to stop. “That’s okay,” in a commanding tone. “I want him to be able to talk when I ask him my questions.”
The man heard when the man torturing him said “Okay boss.” before moving away.
Ramos approached the man and cast a hard look in his direction. In a low, frightening voice, he said, “Where are the drugs?”
The man stumbled and appeared to be afraid. I swear… I don’t know… Please understand that I am clueless.
Ramos growled, “Don’t you dare lie to me! “I know that you don’t wanna talk, but trust me when I say this that if you don’t, I’ll make this more difficult for you. I don’t just make empty threats. So just be a good boy and tell me what I need to know.”
His eyes were wide with horror as the man shook. “I’m being sincere! I have no idea.” The man said, shaking.
“Oh.. so this is how you want to do things huh?” Ramos said.
Ramos lifted his hands and punched the man across the face, the force of the punch sent the man flying and hitting the ground.
The man stayed on the ground, his head still in pain from the punch. He could taste his own blood in his mouth and his whole body hurts.
“Last chance Amigos,” Ramos said, his tone full of menace. “Tell me what I wan to know, or I’ll make you wish you had. For I’m not a very patient person.”
The man’s eye were filled with fear. “I’m telling you the truth, I don’t know anything.” He cried. “Please spare me”
Ramos swore under his breath, clearly frustrated. He looked at his man and gave the orders. “Kill him.”
“Please, all I did was assist in moving the drugs and I did nothing more. I got paid and that was it.” He explained.
But Ramos wasn’t convinced. He lifted his hand to stop his men.
“Oh, you did more my friend. You helped that piece of shit steal from me and that I can’t forgive.” Ramos said.
“Please….” The man begged.
He leaned closer to the man.
“Hey, look at me you piece of shit! You and I know that you can’t escape from me neither can you keep such secrets from me for I will know. Do you know how?” Ramos asked the man who was obviously scared for his life.
He shaked his head since he didn’t know the answer.
Ramos signaled one of his men to open the shark cage. When the man saw it, he started begging more and more.
“You see that… I have a much persuasive measure I use to get what I want out of people who are proving to be very stubborn.” Ramos said.
“Please don’t kill me. I don’t know where the drugs are.” He begged.
“Well, you said that your job was to deliver the drugs and get paid, so where did you move the drugs?” Ramos questioned with a strong tone.
“I transported it to the man who sent me, and I was paid. It was a modest house near a supper downtown. I just know that.
The man was on the edge of crying and his voice was shaking. “I genuinely don’t know anything else, I swear! I only followed instructions and received payment. I didn’t inquire since I had no desire to learn anything. Please refrain from harming me.”
Ramos eyes were focused on the man’s face looking clearly angry. “You think you’re innocent in all of this? That your actions weren’t going to have consequences?”
The man shaked his head, his eye wide with fear. “I swear to you… I didn’t know it was your warehouse we ransacked and stole those drugs, I thought it was going to be a clean job and that it wasn’t going to result to this. Please believe me.” The man said.
“Okay, why don’t we play a little game.” Ramos said, his voice cold and sacry.
“You said that you’ve no idea about the drugs right? So this is the game, I’ll ask you few questions, and if you answer them sincerely, I’ll believe you and set you free.”
Possibly even wider than before, the man’s eyes expanded. His voice quivered as he said, “You’ll let me go?”
