Chapter 67 She Will Definitely Fall in Love with Me
Ziana looked up calmly at Sisily and asked, “Do you really want me to show you the evidence?”
Though Ziana’s words were plain, they made Sisily’s heart sk*p a beat.
Did Ziana really have evidence?
No.
It was not true.
It was impossible.
The surveillance footage from that day had already been deleted.
No one would know what she did except for Molly and herself.
Ziana was just trying to scare her.
Sisily gathered her courage and replied with conviction, “If you have evidence, then show it!”
Vivi Colin frowned and said, “Miss Scott, if you really have evidence, then show it to prove that the
composition is yours.”
“I will show it,” Ziana said calmly, “but not right now.”
“What?” Sisily hadn’t even spoken yet when Enya shouted and jeered, “Ziana, enough is enough! If you have evidence, show it now! If you don’t, then apologize to us! And, tomorrow during the performance, you can’t use this song!”
“Why not?” Nina was furious and said with a snort. “Can you prove that the song is yours?”
Sisily was certain and said, “The mentors can prove it!”
Nina pursed her lips and glared at them with fierce eyes, her eyes red with anger.
Seeing that Ziana wasn’t speaking anymore, Sisily targeted her again and said, “Ziana, don’t you have evidence? Quickly show it to prove your innocence!”
She hated Ziana so much. It was Ziana who stole her limelight, her gaze, and her honor!
She thought that Ziana, a b*tch who had climbed into an old man’s bed, should stay in a smelly
gutter and rot.
How dare she argue with her!
Ziana’s gaze swept roughly over her face, “Tomorrow. If you don’t want to die too horribly, you
better not use other people’s things during tomorrow’s performance.”
They had been in a stalemate for so long, and Ziana still refused to show any evidence.
Sisily was convinced that Ziana had no evidence at all, and that everything was just a scare tactic.
Sisily sneered, “Do you think I’m afraid of you? I haven’t done anything wrong. Whoever steals something knows it in their heart.”
“You have a tough mouth,” Ziana said lazily, no longer interested in arguing. “Consider it a scare tactic. I hope it makes you happy.”
“You!” Sisily bit her lip tightly, stomped her foot, and looked toward Vivi Colin. “Vivi mentor, how do you think we should handle this?”
Vivi Colin hated Ziana. She was happy that Ziana was in trouble, but she still had to maintain her
image.
Seeing both sides standing their ground and unable to reach a consensus, she didn’t want to get
involved.
She shook her head in disappointment. “I will report this to the director and investigate thoroughly. For now, let’s continue with rehearsals.”
After hearing the news, Director Mr. Zern rushed to the performance hall as soon as the rehearsal
ended.
When Sisily saw him, she ran up to him as if he were a savior. “Director, you have to help me with
this!” said Sisily.
But to her surprise, Mr. Zern ignored her and went straight to Ziana.
He personally brought a cup of hot water, nodded and bowed, and carefully chose his words. “Miss Scott, personally, I trust that your group would not plagiarize. But I still have to give everyone an explanation…”
“Don’t worry about it,” Ziana interrupted him. “I will handle it. You can go back now.”
Mr. Zern mouth twitched, but his body obeyed his instincts and he subconsciously agreed, “Alright!”
He left with his head down, but after taking a few steps, he turned back and asked worriedly, “Miss Scott, this program… won’t get cancelled, right?”
“It won’t,” Ziana reassured him, but then added another sentence that made him anxious again. “But some people might be in trouble.”
Mr. Zern came and went, and in less than five minutes, everyone present was just a background in his eyes, except for Ziana..
Sisily bit her lips until her mouth was filled with the smell of blood.
She was filled with jealousy and thought, “Today, you guys are ignoring me, but tomorrow, I will
make you regret it!
“Only a bunch of idiots would go worship at Ziana’s feet, that shameless woman!
“Tomorrow, I will make Ziana taste what it’s like to be lifted to the clouds and then fall into hell!
“I’ve been waiting for this day for so long, and it’s finally coming!”
In the evening around seven o’clock.
Boris was still working in the president’s office of the Lewis Company.
He had a pile of reports on his desk, all filled with dense numbers.
Although the company had met its performance targets in recent months, as a young and outstanding CEO who took over the family business at the age of seventeen, Boris had a keen sense and could vaguely feel that there was a mysterious force targeting the Lewis Company behind the
scenes.
Although the other party had not caused him any major losses, they had been creating small troubles that he had to put in a lot of effort and money to resolve, which made him feel frustrated.
Who was playing tricks on him?
Boris’ handsome eyebrows furrowed with a hint of coldness.
At this moment, his phone rang suddenly, it was Steven calling.
He frowned but still answered the call, and Steven’s voice immediately came through.
“Boris! Come to the bar! There’s something very, very, very important!”
“I can’t go,” Boris said, pressing his temple, “I have work.”
“Don’t be like that!” Steven wailed, “What could be more important than your brother’s lifelong happiness?”
Boris chuckled lightly, his tongue pressing against his teeth, “Lifelong happiness?”
“Yeah! Ziana’s performance ends tomorrow, and I want to give her a big surprise! The day after tomorrow is our date day! You don’t know about my dating plan yet! It’s so romantic that I guarantee any woman who goes on a date with me will fall deeply in love with me!”
“Is that so?” Boris sneered, tugging at the corner of his mouth, “I’ll be there soon.”
Half an hour later.
Boris entered the private room and immediately noticed the roses on the table and Steven in his sharp suit and shoes.
Biber was also there with his girlfriend, and both were smiling broadly.
“Boris, you’re here!” exclaimed Steven happily. “What do you think of my outfit?”
Boris walked over with his long legs and sank into the couch. “It’s pretentious,” he commented
bluntly.
Biber laughed without hesitation.
Steven gritted his teeth. “What’s pretentious about it? Don’t you think I look handsome today?”
Boris smirked, “Take out the word ‘handsome.””
“Boris!” Steven sat down, annoyed, “Anyway, I’m planning on confessing my love to Ziana tomorrow with this outfit. And check out my dance moves! I’ve been practicing for days, and I’m going to perform for Ziana on our date!”
As he spoke, Steven placed the bouquet on the table and proceeded to give a very greasy striptease performance.
Before Boris could comment, his phone rang. It was his grandfather, Zezili Lewis.
Boris turned around and entered the compartment in the box before answering the phone.
Zezili spoke bluntly, “After Ziana’s performance ends tomorrow, she’ll have two days off. Invite her to your house for dinner!”
Without waiting for a response, Zezili hung up, as was his usual style.
Boris was annoyed. If he could have invited her earlier, he would have.
The reason he hadn’t was that Ziana, that woman, was already giving him a hard time!
When he tried to ask her out, she rejected him and kicked him out of the backup plan group. If he were still in the group, he might have had a chance to ask her out….
Suddenly, Boris raised his eyes. Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.
He saw Steven through the glass, his face full of joy and excitement, and he raised an almost imperceptible eyebrow.
He had a plan!
