Sold To The Mafia Lord

Are You Uncomfortable With Me??

She found herself momentarily speechless. The truth was, she didn’t have an answer. She had been drawn to him, compelled by an invisible force she couldn’t resist.

“I… I couldn’t sleep,” she finally managed to stammer, her voice barely above a whisper. “The storm… it’s so loud.”

Alexander released her wrist, his hand falling back to his side. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he studied her intently. It was a smile that spoke volumes, expressing both understanding and something different.

He knew Amelia was probably lying.

Amelia’s eyes widened, and a blush crept across her cheeks, betraying her embarrassment at being caught in the act of admiring him.

Amelia shifted on her feet, feeling self-conscious under Alexander’s gaze. She cleared her throat, attempting to regain her composure, but her voice came out slightly shaky. “Um… I… I was just… I mean, aren’t you cold? You should go back to sleep.” Her words stumbled out in a jumble, a mix of embarrassment and concern for his well-being.

Alexander couldn’t help but find her bashfulness endearing. Her attempt to brush off the situation and divert his attention away from her checking him out amused him. It was a reminder of the sweet and innocent side of their relationship.

A gentle smile played on Alexander’s lips as he reached out, gently grasping Amelia’s hand to keep her from darting away like a startled kitten. “Amelia,” he said softly, his tone laced with warmth, “there’s no need to be embarrassed. You’re my wife, and it’s perfectly natural to appreciate one another’s beauty.”

Amelia’s eyes widened at his words, and she felt her cheeks grow warmer. Despite being married, she still found herself feeling shy and self-conscious about admiring her husband. It was a vulnerability that she hadn’t fully embraced yet.

Alexander let go of Amelia’s hand, allowing her the freedom to retreat if she wished. He could sense her unease and didn’t want to push her beyond her comfort zone. However, he hoped to convey his acceptance and admiration for her in return.

Amelia took a step back, feeling torn between her desire to escape the situation and her longing to stay connected with Alexander. She hesitated for a moment, contemplating her next move. As she looked into his eyes, she saw nothing but warmth and understanding, encouraging her to open up.

Taking a deep breath, Amelia mustered up the courage to speak up.

But Amelia’s words hung in the air, Alexander’s gaze softened, and a hint of appreciation sparkled in his eyes. The concern in her voice touched him deeply, and he realized how fortunate he was to have such a caring partner.

After a brief pause, Alexander finally spoke, his voice filled with warmth. “Having trouble sleeping??” He asked instead, His words were sincere, and he couldn’t deny the appeal of joining her in bed on this chilly night.

Amelia’s eyes widened in surprise at his question. She hadn’t expected him to ask after her and how she was fairing, and now she felt a mix of excitement and nervousness fluttering in her stomach. “Oh, well, not really!” she stammered, trying to regain her composure. ” Aren’t you cold?? Wanna-come to the bed??.. I mean, that’s if you’re okay with it. It’s just… I didn’t want you to be uncomfortable out here.” Her voice trailed off, and she looked down, feeling a blush creeping up her cheeks.

Alexander’s laughter filled the room, a melodic sound that reverberated through Amelia’s being. It was a laugh that dispelled the tension and brought ease to the atmosphere. “Amelia, there’s no need to be so flustered,” he said, his voice gentle. “I’d be happy to join you in bed tonight. It’s much warmer there, after all.”

Maybe Amelia was starting to become a pervert as she felt his words held a deeper meaning, Amelia quickly made her way to the bed, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness. She settled herself under the covers, her heart pounding in her chest. She couldn’t help but steal a glance at Alexander, who was already making his way towards her.

As he climbed into bed, Amelia’s eyes met his, and a wave of warmth washed over her. The electricity between them was palpable, and they both felt the magnetic pull drawing them closer. They lay side by side, their bodies almost touching, yet hesitant to bridge the remaining gap.

In the silence of the room, Amelia could hear the sound of their breathing, harmonizing as they both tried to find comfort in this newfound intimacy. She dared to steal another glance at Alexander again and he was just staring at her.

“Sleep already or do you want to hear a bed time story??” Alexander teased and Amelia quickly turned to the other side and tried to conceal her red face, thank Goodness it was dark in the room, else Alexander would have caught her expressions right now.

Amelia was already making some progress in calming down her racing heart when suddenly…

Alexander drew closer to Amelia and wrapped his arms around her waist while placing his face on the nook of her neck.

Amelia immediately stiffened up and Alexander was not happy about that though.

It only proved to him that he was just a husband to her by name, he wasn’t someone near Amelia’s heart.

“Are you uncomfortable with me holding you like this??” Alexander asked as his voice rolled out like a melody. It was so hoarse and fragile.

Amelia’s tensed body relieved only a bit but she wasn’t at all uncomfortable so she nodded “Umm”

Alexander sighed, Let go of her waist, and turned to the other side to sleep on his own.

How can he make Amelia fall for him??

That was something he should know, but he wasn’t experienced in that area.

He thought he loved Hilary, but after falling for Amelia, he knew it wasn’t love he felt for Hilary, his ex girlfriend. Hilary was the one who had confessed her feelings for him and he accepted her.

It was so easy and besides, during their Relationship period, He was always busy and didn’t feel the need to do much intimate stuff with her.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

The few times they had sex were rare and after doing the deeds, he didn’t see anything special in what they had done.

He always felt as if it was his right to have sex with her as he was her boyfriend then.

But it was different from Amelia, he wanted to give her the best, and he didn’t want to force her into anything she wasn’t comfortable with.

And the feeling of chasing after her was both crucial and drilling.

Alexander sighed slowly and faced the other side as he fell into deep thought.
