Rift in the perfect picture

Chapter 31

I had dreams of finding true love, but I also knew better than anyone else what a marriage alliance entailed. Love and loyalty were rare in our social circle.

I would’ve preferred it if he had just kissed Claudia in front of me and told me that he’d never loved me. I would’ve accepted that all my love for the past four years was unrequited.

However, I found it hard to accept his dishonesty. He was vague with his feelings and refused to admit that he had cheated on me.

I truly believe I must have been blinded by love to not have seen Claudia’s possessiveness over Nicholas in the first place.

At the moment, she was being coquettish in Nicholas‘ arms. Why didn’t you come home yesterday, Nicholas? Were you with Ariana the entire night?

Nicholas glanced toward the house. Our eyes met.

Claudia saw me as well. She smiled happily and waved at me. I did not reciprocate the action, but she clearly did not mind.

She patted Nicholas on the shoulder excitedly. “Go, Nick, go! Let’s go find Ariana!”

“You shouldn’t be so disrespectful,” Nicholas said without any heat whatsoever. With Claudia in his arms, he walked toward the house.

I stepped away quickly. Just the sight of them was enough to

bring up some of my memories from last night.

The back of the chair was let down as I was pulled onto Nicholas‘ lap.

The sound of fabric rustling, dangerous and provocative, signified the beginning of sex.

He held my waist with one hand and pressed my body against the steering wheel.

Even through the layers of clothing, I could feel the heat on his body. He thrust his lower body against me a few times. I could feel his arousal.

“Nicholas!” I said while instinctively trying to protect myself. “I don’t feel well.”

Unfortunately, my discomfort only aided in his arousal,Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

especially since he had no intention of holding back in the first place.

He reached out to adjust the rearview mirror so that I could see myself in this mortifying position.

His dick prodded against me uncomfortably, but he was calm when he asked, “Isn’t a man’s only job to earn money to feed his family?”

I wasn’t lucid enough to answer him, so he kept repeating the question as he held me against the wheel.

His hand was running around my waist to my front. Às it wandered higher, I pressed myself against the steering wheel so that he wouldn’t be able to touch me.

He bit the back of my neck. “Close your eyes. Feel the marks. that I’m going to leave on you.”

I closed my eyes while feeling helpless and mortified. I did not. like him touching me, but I couldn’t stop myself from feeling the pleasure.

Back in reality, I hurried upstairs with the cup of tea. All the memories I thought I’d forgotten for good seemed to come back all at once to attack my mind. I was reminded of the insanity of the night before.

His kisses weren’t gentle. He’d bitten hard through the back of my clothes. The pain kept me from forming coherent thoughts. I was soon reduced to a mess.

The two of us were alone in his car in the basement parking lot. We were so close that we could smell each other.

His hand kept moving on my stomach.

With reddened eyes, I begged, “Please, don’t.”

The rosary beads on his wrist clicked together incessantly. Eventually, I couldn’t stop myself from writhing in his arms. My chest hit the horn.

I jumped in shock. Looking up, I saw the lights of the car flash. My flushed face was reflected on the windshield.

1 wasn’t sure how many times he had tormented me.

But I remembered clearly how wet the fabric of his trousers. was when he finally put me back down on the passenger seat.
