Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson)

Chapter 69

Sabrina was exasperated.

She wondered, "Does Nelson have amnesia? Has he forgotten the fan asking when he would marry Pamela when they were in the lobby of my company?"

"Go away!" she was utterly disgusted by Nelson's audacity.

"Are you upset?" he whispered into her ear.

Sabrina's eyes reddened immediately. After three years of marriage, this was his first time showing any concern for her feelings.

"I handled it poorly. You left me waiting there, allowing her to take advantage. If you had let Eva take me to your office, this wouldn't have happened, right?" Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

He licked her earlobe and noticed she didn't have pierced ears.

Nevertheless, her ears were captivating.

Just as he was about to kiss her ear, she turned around to grab him.

"Can you have some decency and be more reasonable?"

Sabrina was on the verge of breaking down. He had impregnated someone and flaunted his affection everywhere. Yet, now he was blaming her.

She lost her composure and attacked him like a madwoman.

Nelson didn't dodge her and let her vent her anger.

When she grew exhausted, Nelson ignored the scratches on his neck and hugged her tightly.

"Have you vented enough, Mrs. Tucker? If you haven't, just keep on hitting!"

With teary eyes, Sabrina pushed him away forcefully.

"There's no need. It's best for you to sign the divorce papers. Nelson, let's not waste each other's time anymore."

Sabrina's hands hurt. She sighed and turned back to continue packing her luggage.

"How many days will you be away?" Nelson asked.

"What?"

Sabrina was puzzled.

"Aren't you going on a trip to Dewhurst?"

Nelson leaned against the wardrobe with a cigarette in his mouth.

Sabrina didn't respond and only glanced at him.

"That bouquet of roses is too conspicuous."

It was obviously Gerald's doing.

Nelson had checked when he returned. He found that Abigail was the one who arranged the plane tickets, flowers, and hotel booking. There was no trace of Gerald's involvement.

Gerald had indeed managed to keep himself out of it completely. Yet, everyone knew he was behind it.

"I won't be having scandals with Pamela anymore."

"Do as you like."

Sabrina picked up her luggage and prepared to leave.

Nelson grabbed her wrist, making her frown in impatience.

"What the heck do you want again?"

"I want to see you off," he said while taking over her luggage.

When they reached downstairs, he handed her the document.

"Pamela has signed it. You can deal with her however you like."

Sabrina didn't expect that Nelson would make Pamela sign the new contract.

She thought Pamela had always been his beloved.

If any scandal involving Pamela surfaced later, she would have to pay a heavy price.

For a moment, Sabrina couldn't figure Nelson out.

After sending Sabrina home, Nelson watched her carry her luggage without looking back. He leaned his elbow against the car window and contemplated for a while.

Finally, he said to Dylan, "Abigail seems free enough to help someone steal my wife from me, doesn't she?"

Dylan sighed.

"You can't blame her."

When a cold and piercing gaze landed on the back of his head, Dylan laughed it off.

"It's all Pamela's fault!"

"Since she can't recognize her position, she shouldn't stay in that position any longer."
