“Oh my god..” Adia gasped rushing out of the helicopter immediately it landed, with Sebastian beside her, her hand on her mouth, the other on her stomach.
“Here..” he led her to a corner, helping her to bend down, letting out all the contents in her stomach, as she made gobbling sounds.
She felt like puking out her whole intestine, she didn’t enjoy her trip one bit, as she felt nostalgic most of the time, and couldn’t wait to throw up, she never got the chance to take a look at britaris, now they’ve finally arrived at Sebastian’s parents house.
Two things really made her nervous, one was meeting Sebastian’s mother, like she’s meeting her mother-in-law for the very first time, and doesn’t even know how to make a good impression, instead of her doing so, she’s puking here, who seriously does that?
Second was living amongst vampires, she’s a human, and this place is stark full of blood suckers, how would she adapt to them, or would they adapt to having a human live among them.
“Have some water..” Sebastian offered to give her a can of water as he pats her back slowly.
Adia rinsed her mouth with the water, feeling refreshed finally, she’s never going to fly in a helicopter, ever again. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Are we good now?” Sebastian asked her as she nodded slowly, feeling a little better, though she felt kind of dizzy, but she was good.
“Then come on, the rest are waiting..” he held her, leading her to where the others were.
Adia now took her time to survey her surroundings, Britaris is God damned beautiful, she expected it to be old, but the little she’s seeing now is far from old.
A gargantuan house stood on top of a mountain, no she was on top of a mountain, that’s where the fucking landed, from where she stood, she could see other tall buildings miles away, and she could literally see the whole of britaris from where she was, and it’s beautiful.
“Only the elders of britaris, live in these types of houses..” Sebastian confirmed her curiosity, as she finally got it, no wonder only a few of these tall houses on top of mountains were visible to her.
She looked above her, and saw that a series of maids were already rushing out to welcome the newly arrived guests, as they took their baggage from them.
She saw a smartly dressed woman, smiling radiantly, as she approached the entrance of the house. She looked so beautiful, kind and nice with her warm smile.
“Welcome, welcome…” she smiled with happiness written on her face, as she held out her hand for an embrace.
“Oh my children, are so grown up now..” she said as Adia froze, so that’s Sebastian’s mother, she’s so young, how..
“Vampires Don’t age at a certain point, remember..” he reminded Adia, he surely has lots of things to explain to her.
“Sebastian, my dear.. it feels like forever..” She uttered, reaching out for Sebastian with tear-filled eyes, making way to hug him, but Sebastian didn’t reciprocate the hug, nor did he look happy to see her.
“You never change..” she muttered, turning to Adia, who gulped nervously, what if she doesn’t like her?, Adia thought.
“And you must be my daughter-in-law..”
“Oh silly me, you are..” she chuckled, her eyes traveling to Adia’s baby bump.
“How are you dear, finally I get to see the woman who has captured Sebastian’s eyes..” she grinned hugging Adia tight.
“Good day ma’am..” Adia greeted softly,
“Ma’am!!” She exclaimed,
“Feel free to call me mother, hmm” she stayed, caressing Adia’s cheek lovingly.
“So the rumors are true..” she remarked, taking a good look at Adia’s face.
“How was your trip my dear?” She questioned, not wanting to make things awkward.
“Tiring, I guess..” Adia replied, exhaustion written all over her face.
“I can see that, you look tired..” she said patting Adia’s shoulders.
“We really have a lot to catch up on..”
“Can’t you see she’s tired, we had a long journey, you can talk to her later” Sebastian chimed in.
“You can never change,” Celeste smiled, tapping Adia’s shoulders.
“Go in dear..” she gestured, making way for Sebastian and Adia to go inside.
“And who do we have here?” Celeste exclaimed as Arion came into view next,
“Not now Celeste..” Arion yawned lazily.
“As grumpy as ever..” Celeste jested ruffling Arion’s hair.
“You can go in..” she made way for Arion to pass, she knew there was no need talking to this one, he’s a cold stone.
“My baby..” she exclaimed happily, hugging Ace instantly.
“Look at you all grown up” she remarked, taking a good look at Ace, though the other two were always cold, this one was always there to light up the mood.
“Come on mom, I’ve not changed..” he chuckled,
“Look at you, I miss you my dear…”
“I miss you too, you look more beautiful now, what have you been having, tell me, what’s the secret?” He whispered playfully to Celeste’s ears.
“Don’t flatter me, I look just the same..” she grinned,
“And who’s she your girlfriend?”Celeste asked, pointing at Monica who stood a few meters away from Ace.
“She’s beautiful, Ace…” she admired, staring lovingly at a speechless Monica, when did she become Ace’s girlfriend, and why isn’t the idiot saying anything to deny her claim.
“I’m so happy for you my dear, your girlfriend is very pretty, now only Arion is left, I hope he brings a woman soon, ” she prayed, hoping that the heavens hears her prayers this time, she has no idea, what’s wrong with Arion, he’s the strangest of them all.
“What’s your name?” She questioned Monica, who kept glancing side by side in confusion.
“It’s Monica, mother..” Ace chimed in , giving Monica no chance to reply to Celeste.
“I’m not..” Monica began,
“We have to go in now, the trip was quite an exhausting one, come on..” Ace tugged Monica’s shoulders, dragging her inside giving her no chance to protest.
