My Stone-Hearted Billionaire Husband

Chapter 38: I’m Married To Sebastian Woods

“KOURTNEY ERIN ALLEN!!! Stop fucking with me!”

“You heard me, Lil. I’m really married to fucking Sebastian Woods!” Kourtney’s expression was dead-pan serious.

It was clear as day she wasn’t joking, and Lilian could see that in her eyes. But the news was just too overwhelming.

“Whaaaat??” Lilian’s jaw practically hit the floor. A-Are you fucking kidding me?”

“I wish I were kidding you, Lil, but I’m not. I’m dead serious!” Kourtney reaffirmed.

Lilian’s eyes widened even further. She was flabbergasted and could not believe her ears.

“Sebastian Woods? THE Sebastian Woods? The Almighty President of Woods Corp? The Stone-cold man who rules the Melbourne Business Industry? Forbes #7 Richest CEO under 30? The same godlike Billionaire who’s known for his reclusive nature and his hatred for women?” Lilian’s asked in one breath. Her voice was filled with disbelief.

She thought Kourtney was pulling her legs with that revelation. “Kourt, come on, this has got to be a joke. Right? You’re joking, right?”© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

Kourtney nodded, her expression unwavering as she placed her hands on Lilian’s. “I’m telling you the truth, Lil. And you’re the first person I’m revealing this to. Not even my parents know it yet!.”

“So you’re….. married to Sebastian Woods? The same guy who avoids women like the plague? The one who’s been linked to more male models than I’ve had hot dinners? And you expect me to believe you?” Lilian’s skepticism was still evident in her voice.

Kourtney rolled her eyes. She had known it certainly wouldn’t be easy to convince anyone about it, but boy, how stressful it is!

“You know me, Lil. I would never play cheap pranks like this, would I? You’re my best friend, and I would never lie to you like this.”

Lilian’s mouth was agape due to wonderment but, she started thinking calmly about the revelation. There is no reason for Kourtney to lie and deceive her like this. They’ve been best friends since their high school days, and it made sense she already knew exactly what Kourtney was capable and not capable of doing.

The news of Sebastian Woods’ sudden marriage this past week was also the talk of the town, with his mystery wife still unknown. And then, how else could her friend have gotten that kind of insane diamond ring that looked out of this world? The pieces and evidence were right in place.

But still, Lilian shook her head in confusion. “I… I still can’t wrap my head around this. B-But but… the rumors say he… doesn’t like women. I mean…But how? I mean, everybody knows about the rumors. And he has never been seen with a woman publicly for years now. How did this even happen?”

Kourtney chuckled softly. Her husband certainly wasn’t “gay”. She could testify that in court if need be. Her cheeks heated up as memories of their encounters where he’d shamelessly flirted with her flooded back. And also how he’d always gape at her like a hungry lion looking at its prey. The man was straighter than a ruler!

“I know, I know. That’s what makes this whole thing even more unbelievable. I’ve heard those rumors as well, but I can tell you firsthand, they’re not true. He’s… well, he’s definitely into women.”

“So, are you telling me that Sebastian Woods, the man who’s been the subject of so much gossip, is not only married to you but also… straight?”

“Of course, he is. Not everything portrayed in the tabloids or the gossip columns is true, Lil.” Kourtney replied, remembering when Sebastian had confidently offered to “prove his manhood” back when she also questioned his sexuality.

“B-But wait… how did this even happen? I mean, how come?” Lilian’s disbelief was turning into curiosity.

Kourtney sighed and ran a hand through her hair. “Believe me, the whole thing feels like a whirlwind. But it’s happened, Lil. And it’s turned everything upside down.”

Lilian leaned in, her eyes probing. “Okay, spill it. I need details. How did you two even end up together? And more importantly, how did you manage to tie him down when he’s practically been a recluse from women for years?”

Kourtney hesitated for a moment, her cheeks flushing as she remembered the unexpected turn of events.

“Well, it all started after I caught Kathlyn and Brandon having sex at his home. And then I went home to inform my parents, but they caused me more heartbreak when I found out they knew it all along. So, I was having a severe meltdown while driving to the airport to board a flight to leave Melbourne for good. But then I had a minor accident due to my carelessness and lack of concentration while driving. Guess what? It was Sebastian Wood’s 60-million-dollar Rolls Royce I ran straight into. And then, he was like: ‘You can’t afford to get me a new car, so let’s go get married immediately, and I’d spare you for the damages.’ The next thing I knew, we drove all the way to the city hall even when I screamed no! And that was it,” Kourtney summarized the events the best she could. She still felt a bit angry, recalling how arrogant and cocky Sebastian had been that day.

Lilian leaned back, her mind reeling from the information.

“This sounds so unbelievably exciting, girl. It’s giving straight out of a rom-com – male lead using domineering tactics to coerce the female lead into marriage. I’m crying!”

“Honestly, I have no idea what’s next. This all happened so fast, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. But yes, he’s invited me to stay at his place to live like a married couple and stuff.”

Lilian grinned mischievously, eyes sparkling with intrigue. “Wow, this is like a plot twist in one of those romance novels. So, when are you moving in with him? Is he taking you on some lavish honeymoon to a private island or something equally extravagant?”

“Honeymoon? Please…. we barely know each other. And he’s an arrogant jerk, I can’t stand him,” Kourtney sneered, but a small smile tugged at her lips.

After discussing at the coffee shop for a few more hours, Lilian dragged Kourtney to the most popular and crowded shopping mall in the city. As they entered the mall, Lilian couldn’t contain her excitement.

“Girl, you’d need to buy more classy dresses and accessories now that you became the wife of a billionaire. And don’t forget, you’re going to have to be attending all these high-class events as well. You need to be prepared for the spotlight and wear dresses that screams ‘I’m the queen of his world,” Lilian kept rambling on and on as they strolled towards the ladies’ wear section.

They ventured into the first store, and Lilian immediately pointed to a stunning white evening gown worn on a mannequin. It had a touch of ethereal charm as if it were kissed by winter’s first snowfall. The simplicity of the dress was its most striking feature, allowing the purity of the white fabric to speak volumes.

“This, Kourtney! Try this on.”

Kourtney held it up, examining the elegant fabric. “It’s beautiful, Lil, but do I even have an occasion to wear such a striking dress?”

Lilian rolled her eyes, “Of course, you do! Didn’t you say you’d be moving into his place tomorrow? I think this dress is the perfect outfit for that.”

Kourtney eyed the dress skeptically, “I don’t know, Bestie. This might be a bit much for just moving into his home.”

“Nonsense!!! It will be your first day going to your husband’s mansion. You have to make sure he sees you in something unforgettable.”

Kourtney blushed a light shade of red as she reluctantly took the white dress into the fitting room, secretly feeling excited about the idea of surprising Sebastian.
