Marry My Ex’s Uncle After Rebirth by Agatha Barney

Chapter 199

Although it was a good opportunity, Stephanie didn’t immediately accept the invitation.

The two villages were hostile to each other. If she agreed immediately, it would be suspicious.

She looked at the hideous man in front of her and the silver jewelry he brought. “Take your stuff back. I wo

treat her.”

The man looked embarrassed. “If you refuse, I will be punished for failing at my mission.”

“It doesn’t concern me. You and I are strangers. Why should I show you respect?” Stephanie stared at him coldly.

“My name is Raul Syer. I will come again. With a nod, he had his men carry ty

Denver and Ronan come over.

Denver asked, “What do you think they came fort

ads of jewelry and left with them.

Ronan tutted. “Their chief believed Stephie could heal his mother because of her exceptional medical skills”

Denver didn’t think so. “I think it’s more than that.”

Ronan gave it some thought and said. “Are they afraid that Stephie will find out the problem with Terodt villagers and cure

them?

Denver snorted. “Spot on.”

Ronan mocked, “Did they think they could buy Stephie off with some jewelry?”

Denver glanced at him in disdain. They are testing us. Naturally, we would seek an antidote if we discover the abnormality of the Terodt villagers. They are manipulating us psychologically”

Ronan frowned and said, “We need to go to the Steop Village. But it’s too dangerous because they have many people.”

Zane said. “I’ll keep Mrs. Fletcher safe.”

Ronan was stunned. “By yourself?”

“Of course not. A task force will be here soon, Zane said.

Ronan nodded Look at you. I’m afraid you can’t even defeat Stephie.”

Zane was speechless. He inwardly admitted that was true.

Stephanie said firmly, “I will go when they come to invite me for the third time. I have to even if I know it’s risky”

Three days later, Raul came again. His face, arms, and chest were injured.

Stephanie glanced indifferently and refused him.

A week later, Raul came for the third time, and Stephanie agreed to go.

She said in a low voice, “I’ll go with you.”

Kaul was grateful. Thank you. If you turn me down again, it won’t be me coming to you next time.”

Stephanie asked, “What punishment will you face if I refuse you this time?”

Raul answered truthfully. “My body will slowly rot after he lets his parasite get into my ear and release toxins inside.”

Stephanie believed Gaven was capable of doing that at the thought of his sinister and vicious appearance.

She said, “111 bring someone with me.“

Raul glanced at Zane beside Stephanie and nodded. “No proble

When they walked out of the village, Stephanie saw four men carrying a sedan.

Raul stretched out his hand and said, “Please get in.”

Stephanie glanced at him and then walked forward with Zane.

The four people looked at Raul, who raised his chin and said fiercely, “Follow them.”

When they arrived at Steop Village, Gaven was waiting for them at the entrance.

When he saw Zane, the look in his eyes turned cold.

Gaven stepped forward with a smile. “Welcome. We have prepared delicious food. Please come in.”

Stephane said, “Forget the food. Let’s go to see a patient first.

Gaven nodded.

When Stephanie and Zane walked in, Caven gave Raul a wink. After they all went in, the gate of the village was

Gaven led them to a spacious wooden house where a woman seemingly in her forties was lying on a wooden bed.

She was young, but her lips were drained of color, which indicated a cardiac condition.

“This is my mother, Mia,” said Caven.

Stephanie was somewhat surprised because Mia looked much younger than Louisa although they were about the same age. It didn’t make sense.

Mia sat up with surprise in her eyes. “Are you the miracle doctor that Gaven mentioned?”

Stephanie said calmly, “I’m not a miracle doctor. I just know a little about medicine.”

Mia patted the edge of the bed and said. “Take a seat.

“No, thanks.” Stephanie looked at Gaven, saying, “Don’t you want me to examine her? Get me a chair.”

Gaven turned around and waved his hand. Then Raul placed a chair

side the bed.

Stephanie took the seat and put her fingertips on Mia’s wrist.

Mia kept looking at Stephanie.

Stephanie glanced at her, and Mia smiled, not feeling embarrassed at all.

Stephanie withdrew her hand. “You frequently experience palpitations, which may indicate a blood clot in your heart.”

Mia’s eyes lit up. “Indeed. I have to stay in bed a lot because of heart issues. Can you treat it?”

“You can try acupuncture.”

Mia nodded. “I heard from Gaven that you have taught Zaiden hid his family a lesson. Briley treasures her son so much. I dain’t expect her to submit after you hurt her son. Chir village is hot as strong as Poadew Village, so Gaven listened to Zaiden in everything. Please don’t take it personally if Caven has offended you in any way. I will let him apologize to you?

Stephanie would have accepted Mia as a reasonable person if Terodt Village hadn’t been drugged with parasites, but she was aware of Mia’s past and would never believe Mia’s nonsense,

Stephanie smiled. “So, do you want to start now?”

Mia smiled. “I’ll be back right back.”

Stephanie nodded

After assisting Mia in getting out of bed, Gaven and she left the house. Once were well out of earshot, Mia muttered,

This woman is right about my cardiac condition. I think she can tell something wrong with the bodies of Terodt villagers.”

Gaven responded, “I doubt she realizes it’s because of parasites, even if she finds something strange”

Mia thought it was still inappropriate. “Gaven, that woman is beautiful but too dangerous.

Gaven shook his head. Stephanie’s gorgeous face was all he could think about. “Something is appealing about danger. I will have a wife once if we keep her, and she can contain Terodt Village for us.” This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

Mia frowned. “But isn’t she married?”

“Her husband: Kiera will take care of him.”

“If so, we will keep her and wait until the evening?

Gaven smiled. Tll count on you for that, Mom!”

After they returned to the house, Stephanie took out the prepared silver needles.

Looking at the glistening silver needles, Mia felt terrified. “How to treat it?”

Dredge the heart’s collaterals to unclog the blood vessels.”

Mia nodded. “Let’s get started.”

Stephanie took out a disposable alcohol swab to wipe the silver needles. “I’ll disinfect them.”

Mia was at last relieved to smell alcohol since it served as a disinfectant and sterilizer

She was unaware, though, that the alcohol cotton was smeared with parasites, and that after being wiped, all of those silver needles were contaminated with parasites.

After the silver needles pricked into Mia’s skin, the parasites on it began to move.
