VISITOR
When Zachary entered the room, he carefully placed Samarra on the bed. When he saw Samarra’s reaction, he suppressed his grin as she closed her eyes and appeared to be holding her breath.
“You can breathe even if you don’t want to open your eyes, love.”
Samarra awoke to find Zachary staring at her with a sly grin on his lips.
“I’m still breathing.”
Zachary laughed and tapped her cheek. His handsome face was solemn, and his eyes were fixed on her.
“No matter what, don’t leave the room.”
Zachary’s words had devastated Samarra. She was scared of him, not of herself. She’d imagine something terrible happening to Zachary as if he couldn’t handle it.
“What was that expression, Love?” Zachary’s sentence was cut short by Samarra’s embrace.
“I’ll be waiting for you. And if you don’t show up in thirty minutes, even if you get angry, I’ll come down, hmm.” Zachary hugged Samarra even tighter as if he couldn’t bear the thought of letting go of her arm.
“Don’t be stubborn; do what I say. Please do not leave the room. I’ll take care of it. Nothing bad will happen to me.”
Samarra closed her eyes again when Zachary kissed and hugged her.
“Stay right here.”
Zachary gave Samarra a warning look before standing up. He took a deep breath and opened the door before leaving.
He turned back to face Samarra, who was staring at him. He smiled and waved his hand to ensure that everything was fine.
Zachary stepped out of the room to sigh before heading down the stairs. He recognized the man standing outside their gate.
He had no idea why this visitor had come to their home. When Zachary stepped down, he went straight to the umbrella. He checked the surveillance cameras to see if the visitor was still at their gate.
Zachary sighed and seemed to have no choice but to open the gate and let him in because his visitor did not appear to be leaving in front of the entrance.
When Zachary walked out the door, he opened his umbrella and went straight to the gate, ignoring the heavy rain. When he opened the gate, the visitor in front of him was unsurprised.
Zachary remained silent and let the visitor in. Because he was about to close the gate, he told him to walk first.
Zachary only recently realized they should hire a maid for this task. He closed the gate so no bad people could enter their yard later.
Zachary turned to the newcomer and gave a warning look because he could see how he shook and grinned as he took off his raincoat. Zachary took a deep breath before opening the door and letting them in.
As soon as Zachary walked in, he confronted the male visitor, covered in mud and looking around the house.
“What exactly are you doing here?”
“Whoa, easy. Could you please let me in first?”
Zachary was blown away by the wind and lost patience as he looked at the visitor, who appeared to be trying to annoy him. Zachary scratched his neck furiously as he followed his visitor.
His visitor entered their living room and sat on the couch facing him, his jaw clenched, his annoyance visible because he could see his grin.
“What exactly are you doing here?”
“I’m trying to find the owner of this house.”
“I’m the owner.”
“I had no idea this was your house; I thought Samarra lived here.” The visitor smiled as he looked at him, which irritated him even more. He had the impression that the visitor knew but was deceiving him.
“Oh, stop. “What are you doing here?”
“How long have you been married?”
Zachary sat down and wiped his brow because the person in front of him did not intend to answer his question.
“OK, I got married two months ago.”
The visitor nodded and sat down as well.
“I know,”
“Did you know?” “Why do you have to come here?”
“Correction, Daddy wants me to come here.”
“So that’s how you found out I’m married?”
“No, I found out about her marriage from Samarra herself.” I had no idea who it was. not until yesterday, when Dad said it.”
Zachary nodded and took a deep breath before turning to face the visitor. He recognized Samarra because she never denied her social standing.
“Oh, you know, you’re free to go.” Zachary’s visitor stood up and patted him on the shoulder, laughing.
“Can you feed me first, and can you see the darkness and heavy rain?”
“You’re wealthy, so why don’t you go home?” He’ll dismiss the visitor.
“If you don’t want to feed me, I’ll call Samarra.” Zachary rose quickly at four o’clock.
“Don’t you dare?”
Zachary threatened before being blown into the air. The visitor claims to be skilled at blackmailing. He even frowned as the man laughed as if he was pleased with what was happening.
“You have a lot of time to come here. Do you want me to go to America and meet with her? -”
Zachary hung his saying in front of him.
“OK, I just passed by.”Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
Zachary stumbled and looked straight ahead. Have you gone by? How can he pass by? Is his house far away from them? Mistletoe is in phase II, while his home is in phase I in Larkspur Village.
Is he being duped?
“Really?”
“Yeah,”
“Are you kidding me?”
“No, where-”
Zachary couldn’t finish when the gate buzzed again. The visitor still frowned as he looked at him, wondering who was outside the gate.
“Delivery man.”
The visitor nodded and removed his jacket before turning around.
“Go… so we can eat.”
Zachary was offended by what visitors said because he appeared to be staying for an extended period in their home. Zachary took a deep breath before slamming the door shut.
He was blown into the air when he exited the door because he was so irritated. He knew the visitor was curious, so he came along with them. Despite the heavy rain, Zachary walked back to the gate. When he arrived at the gate, he immediately handed over the fee and took the order before hurrying back inside the house.
“Wow, I like that.”
“Tsk, you can go home and eat. You’re wealthier than I am. I’m not sure why you have to stay here any longer.”
“You know, I’m not here for you. I’m here for Samarra,” the visitor’s sarcasm made him appear to want to see his wife more than him.
“She’s not going down.”
“Does Claudel know you’re married, Zach?” Zachary nodded and set the food down.
“Why?”
“What are your plans for Claudel?”
Zachary just shrugged his shoulders at this question because he didn’t know his plan; when he first met Samarra, his only goal was to try and convince her to call off their marriage, but he didn’t know why his plan changed.
“Does Samarra know anything about her?” He nodded and removed the food from the paper bag.
“What exactly did she say?”
“Samarra was the first to notice that I opposed our wedding. She was aware of Claudel’s and my situation. You are also aware that I was forced into my actual status.”
“Why don’t you try to fall in love with Samarra? After all, you already stated that you were in that situation. You know you’re clever. You understand what is right and wrong.” Zachary sighed and turned to face the visitor, who was speaking solemnly.
“We have agreed to divorce once I receive my inheritance at twenty-one.”
“OK, it’s your life, by the way, and I’m leaving. I don’t meddle in your affairs, but I hope you don’t come to regret your choices. You still have three years to fall in love with Samarra.” Surprisingly, Zachary looked up at what was being said to him.
He was aware that he no longer desired his agreement with Samarra. What about Samarra, though? What if she decides she no longer wants him? Damn. When he heard something that sounded broken, Zachary wiped his face and bowed.
When the man stood before him, Zachary immediately looked up; they both looked toward the staircase where the noise came from.
Samarra!
When Zachary saw the broken vase on the floor, that was the first thought that came to mind.
