Chapter 59
I genuinely couldn't be nearly as powerful as she is making me out to be. I have to be dreaming.
I pinched myself to make sure and well, the truth ended up slapping me so hard in my face that I was entirely unsure of how to undress it.
"So tell me why exactly, he is so interested in this power that I don't even know I have?" I said, raising my eyebrow.
"He wants Aiden's son to be the most powerful god there is so that no one can go up against him.
So that he could rule for all eternity while Zeus brainwashes him.
Now that you have marked Lucian instead, Zeus will try much harder to break you apart. For your child might be the most powerful being to have ever existed.
A child that might hold the power to control the whole universe."

"For Zeus it is all about power", She added, making a shiver run down my spine.
Lucian squeezed my shoulder tightly, reassuring me that he wouldn't let this happen. And as much as I wanted to believe him, it was hard to do so.
What power did he have over the god of all gods?
This was a fight I was doubting that we could win, but one I was ready to fight nevertheless. A small chance of victory was still a chance.
And although I was uncertain of many things, the one thing I knew for a fact was that I couldn't let Zeus win. I would rather die.
"Anyway, Scarlet, please enjoy the rest of the ceremony in peace because we do not know how long it will last. So enjoy every second of it",
She said before her and the man walked away again. Lucian pulled me into a hug, squeezing all the worries out of me like a lemon.
When I took a deep breath after realizing that I'd held it all this time, I felt myself melt into Lucian's frame. So the birds chirped again and the people chatted.
Time was moving once more, while it felt like my whole world had frozen up, leaving me with a cold shiver down my spine that refused to leave.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
"Come on Lover-wolves, it's time for the first run with the pack and the Luna", Freya said in an excited tone that I wished I could adopt. To access the complete chapters for free, visit FindNovel, com. She started pushing us to the edge of the woods where two robes were being held by an omega. One being a light grey and the other a darker grey.
Lucian grabbed onto the lighter one and passed it on to me. I took hold of it and that charming smile lined his lips again, making my heart stop before it pounded in my throat.
I returned to him with my awkward smile before he ruffled his hand through my hair.
"Don't give me that look outside of the bedroom princess", he said, making me go a bright shade of cherry red. A giggle erupted from his chest, making me gulp.
We entered the forest behind a bush where we would get out of our ceremony clothes so that we didn't rip them.
He started undressing and covered himself in the robe. I got a few sneak peaks of his abs, making me lustful.
I couldn't help but lick my lips that had seemingly gone dry. Soon I did the same.
When we were both in our robes, he held my hand. We then walked over to the crowd.
"Silvermoon pack I wanted to properly introduce you to your Luna. The woman of my heart. The woman fated to me by the moon goddess herself. Fated to be your Luna.
A strong and fierce woman who heavily underestimates herself. But none the less loyal and powerful." He said, looking at me. "Luna...Luna... Luna." The crowd cheered.
A sense of accomplishment filled me. And all though I hadn't done anything extraordinary, they made me feel like I had. I smiled and my heart felt warm.
This felt like family. A family I would do anything for. "Today we run with our Luna for the first time, sealing the bond between me, her and this pack."
Lucian continued before he started to shift. His bones started cracking and repositioning themselves, but he didn't even let out as much as a groan. When he finished shifting, his large wolf towered over me. He was gorgeous.
Golden fur covered his body and his eyes were the same. He glowed slightly, making him look like a star.
He nodded his head, signaling for me to shift. I was quite worried as I hadn't shifted in a while.
I shook my hands next to my hips, hoping to shake off the nervousness. I have felt my wolf aura change over the last weeks, but not to a large extent.
I just thought it all had something to do with the betrayal and the rejection and all the drama that had come along with it all.
When I shifted, however, I wasn't in pain of any sort. I opened my eyes again and saw everyone's eyes on me. I kind of started to feel uncomfortable. Was something wrong?
I looked down at my paws feeling shy, but when I was met with two white paws I was shocked. I used to have red fur and now it seemed to be pure white and glowing.
I looked over to Lucian and he walked closer to meet my eyes. I stepped back feeling awkward and uncomfortable.
"Your eyes are purple, Princess". His mind, linked me.
"No they are green Lucian... You really should pay more attention"
"No princess, I'm serious".
"Maybe it has something to do with who my mom is," I retorted, trying to convince myself too.
Lucian then left it and returned to his position. He howled loudly, signaling that the run was about to start.
The whole crowd started shifting. Soon there was an army of wolves that stood before us and, while it could feel threatening to everyone else to me, it made me feel proud and safe.
I knew that I couldn't be safer anywhere else other than with my pack. Lucian lunged into the woods and I was right on his trail.
The whole pack followed and I could see a few were passing me on either side. I picked up the pace and ran past Lucian.
"Catch me if you can" I said, and picked up the pace even more.
I ran through the woods, dodging the trees with Lucian close on my paws. After a while of running, he pounced on me and we rolled for a few feet.
When we stopped rolling, she pinned me to the floor. 1
Even in wolf form, I could see his smug face.
I used his smugness against him and escaped his grip.
I quickly found my footing before I started clawing my way up a tree.
"It's not that easy"
I mind linked Lucian mocking him.
After jumping from tree to tree, I looked down at the ground and saw no sign of him. Just as I jumped down, he grabbed me midair and pinned me to the floor again
. This time he made it impossible to free myself.
"Don't mock me princess". He mind linked me.
I tried to free myself once more but soon realized that there were no weak points this time.
"I like it when you squirm underneath me", he continued. I got soaking wet at his comment, knowing exactly what he meant.
"Come on, let's go home. Let's have a pup"

My day was going well. The two most annoying people had left for "important business".
It felt good to be away from them for even the slightest moment.
I took another bite from the grape that was being held to my mouth by one of the women that were lying in my bed. "She's marking someone else".
A familiar voice called out just as he opened my chamber gate.
I gestured for the women to leave and soon they scattered like ants. When the last one left, I looked towards my son.
"So then stop them", I simply said, walking towards my hot bath. I lowered myself into it and felt the warmth engulf me and ease my muscles.
"I tried"
"Clearly not hard enough. Listen son, if you do not marry her you will lose the throne."
I popped open the wine bottle.
"I did, father, but. They stopped me"
"Who stopped you?" I turned to meet his eyes.
"Selene and Astraeus". I fisted my hand into a ball, not realizing, I then rested it on the bath's edge.
"Crack.... Splash" My bath water started running out. Frustrating me even more.
"THEY WERE TOLD NOT TO INTERVENE!!!." I shouted.
Causing my coward of a son to take a few steps backwards.
"Fine, I will sort this myself", I stepped out of the bath and grabbed onto a towel. "Two can play this game"
