Got On His Love Pirate Ship

Chapter 9 My Little Bear God

The Christmas atmosphere began to fill the streets.

Patton, who somehow found out about my birthday, kept pestering me every day, asking what gift I wanted.

I told him that I didn’t need anything. But Patton didn’t listen, always busy with something, but the frequency of him reaching out to me had decreased a lot these days.

My final project was also nearing completion. I immersed myself in the design studio, creating the final piece-a wedding dress.

It was the wedding dress I had drawn in my notebook at the age of fifteen.

Back then, I had fantasized countless times about wearing my own wedding dress and marrying Ashburn.

He was the one who made me fall in love with fashion design, and now, using fashion design, I had to say goodbye to him.

As the wedding dress was finished, Christmas arrived.

I hadn’t seen Ashburn for two weeks, the longest separation between us.

I was planning to go home as scheduled but was stopped by a call from Patton.

“Come on, let’s go somewhere.”

I glanced at the watch, realizing I could delay a little longer. I followed him to the art studio.

He asked me to open the door, and as it creaked open, a huge oil painting unfolded before me-a blue butterfly surrounded by several origami butterflies.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Patton’s triumphant voice echoed in my ears.

“How is it? Looks good, right? Birthday present!”

I didn’t say anything, just silently stared at the painting.

Patton thought I was stunned and came over to look.

“Why aren’t you saying anything? Don’t you like it?”

I shook my head. I knew his intentions, but I couldn’t respond to his love anymore.

“Patton, thank you, but…”

“No ‘but’! Save it for later!”

Patton covered his ears, refusing to look at me, as if that could make him not hear my rejection.

“Okay, well, thank you anyway.”

He dropped me off at the school gate, and just as I turned around to leave, Ashburn arrived to pick me up.
