Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Chapter 63

Third-person Narrative.

All through that night, Denver, and his pack warriors were awake, preparing for a revenge attack on the rival pack.

Before now, Denver had already declared Gwen and her father wanted after Mara admitted that she was working for both of them.

Her confession made Denver believe beyond a reasonable doubt that Lucas and his daughter were the ones who betrayed the pack.

He was furious as he vowed to bring Lucas and his daughter back to the silver moon pack for them to serve their punishment.

Denver had angrily left Mara in the dungeon with the promise to pass judgment on her after they were back from the war.

He had just gotten to where the other warriors were when he was told by Devon that their brother had sent him a mind link.

When Denver asked how Derrick was doing, he was told that Derrick was fine and was on his way back to the pack.

Denver was relieved to know that his brother was fine, and he told the other warriors to hold on until Derrick arrived if perhaps he could provide some information as to how they could attack the rival pack.

He, however, told Devon that he should continue the preparation with the other warriors as he needed to speak with Gina, who had been busy preparing food for the warriors.

When Denver notified Gina that Derrick was on his way back, she was not sure how to feel about that.

Of course, she was happy that he was safe and alive, but that couldn’t erase the fact that she had caught him cheating on her with Gwen.

Denver noticed her sudden reservations and decided to speak with her about the situation.

Once he was less busy, he pulled Gina aside from the prying ears of the people present to speak with her.

She had been very busy all through the night, preparing food for the warriors, and from her appearance, one could tell that she was exhausted.

They had told her several times to stop the cooking and allow the other chef to take charge, but she had bluntly refused, insisting that the workload would be too much for one person.

“I want to talk to you about Derrick,” he said to her.

From the mention of Derrick’s name, she immediately knew what he was going to say.

“What about him?” She questioned, pretending not to understand where their discussion was heading.

“I don’t think he did it,” Denver said calmly to her.

“What are you talking about?” she questioned while still feigning ignorance as to what he was talking about.

“I don’t think Derrick deliberately cheated on you; I think he was manipulated by Gwen,” he said, hating the hurtful look in her eyes.

At first, she was quiet as the scene of seeing Derrick and Gwen both on the bed replayed in her mind.

“Are you trying to tell me that I don’t know what I saw?” she questioned, staring at Denver straight in the eyes.

“I am not saying that; I am only saying that you should please hear him out when he comes,” he said.

“Like I did before, right? He disrespected the bond that we all share, and I forgave him the first time. But, I am sorry if I am unable to do it again,” she said, and she was about to walk away angrily when Denver pulled her closer to himself.

“Sometimes looks can be deceptive, and that is because people will show you what they would like you to see. It is up to you to decide through your interpretation. Just because someone has hurt you before does not mean that they are incapable of changing,” he said to her.

And somehow, she could see some sense in what he was saying; yes, it was true that Derrick had just had her in the past, but that shouldn’t rob him of his right to explain exactly what happened.

But if he thinks she is going to easily let him off the hook this time, he is in for a bigger surprise.

“I will listen to his explanations, but he will have to prove himself innocent for me to accept him, she said to Denver.

“That’s fair enough,” he said to her, softly wrapping his hands around her waist.

“Thank you for being a good Luna to my warriors,” he said, pressing soft k****s on his lips, while the heat from his teases made her cheeks rosy.

Just then, Devon, who had been looking all over for them, walked in to inform them that Derrick was back.

Denver immediately breaks away from Gina to go and welcome his brother.

Derrick was exhausted when he got to the pack; he had been running since, he woke up to find himself entirely different from how he slept.

Even though the sleep potion was still active on his body when he fell off the cliff, he could vividly remember having many bruises all over his body and a broken leg that was hurting him badly.

Waking up to see all his bruises gone and no traces left on his body told him that something wasn’t right. He tried checking around to see if he could see anyone, but he appeared to be all alone.

Now back home, he was pleased to be reunited with his brothers, and when he asked if his father was safe, they informed him that their father was safe with their mother in one of the secret chambers.

Even though it was very difficult to do, Denver had successfully convinced his father not to bother about what was happening in the pack, as he and his brothers were capable of taking care of it.

When Derrick was done explaining his ordeal with his brothers, he was told by Denver that he needed to go and see Gina and apologize for cheating on her with Gwen.

Derrick told Denver that he did not cheat on Gina and that he could not remember what happened.

Denver informed him that he believed him. But the only person who needed an explanation was Gina.

He then went ahead to tell Gina what transpired and how the last thing he could remember was asking for a glass of juice.

Gina assures him that she will forgive him on the condition that he can get Gwen to back up his story. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

Derrick promised her that he would do his best to prove his innocence.

When it was time, the warriors were all set. Denver and Devon were going to lead the army, while Derrick and Gina were asked to stay back and protect the palace.

Samuel.

“Who is she?” Rebecca questioned us as soon as we got back to our room.

I looked at her and smiled as I took off my shoes and my hunting clothes.

We had gone scouting for rogues that we could capture and force into our reform program.

We sometimes go out in the dead of the night to bring in those without family and try to see if we can become their family and provide shelter for them.

As you may have guessed, I am the new alpha of the new light pack, and Rebecca is my second-chance mate. The pack is not as big as my previous pack, but it is also not small either.

There is also no room for segregation, as all the pack members live together as one happy big family.

Now back to the question that Rebecca asked. Honestly, I am a little divided on how to answer that question.

“You already know who she is,” I said to Rebeca, whose eyes suddenly grew larger than a saucepan.

I had been very open with her about my past life before I met her on that fateful night.

“She is your mate?” Rebecca questioned,

“She was my mate,” I said to her.

“And what about the baby in her womb?” she questioned.

“What baby are you talking about?” I questioned her, frowning at the slightest thought that Gwen was pregnant.

“Didn’t you see her? She is f*****g pregnant, and all I just want to find out is, is the baby yours?” She asked, her eyes clouded with unshed tears.

Even though I was only just learning of Gwen’s baby, it broke my heart to see Rebecca fall apart like this.

Honestly, after how Gwen treated me, I would never have guessed that I could still love someone so deeply.

Rebecca is such a sweetheart, even though she may appear tough and unapproachable at first sight. But deep within her is a beautiful soul that gives all the comfort a man could ever need.

I gently walked towards her and quietly pulled her into my hands.

“I don’t know whether she is pregnant or not, and honestly, I can’t tell whether the baby is mine or not as of this moment. But one thing I can assure you is that, come what may, I am never leaving you for anybody,” I said reassuringly to her.

My words seemed to comfort her as little as I wept off her tears with the back of my palm.

“I will see her tomorrow, and we can have this sorted out,” I said to her, and she nodded her head in agreement.

Once she felt okay, she let go of me and walked into the bathroom.

The possibility of Gwen’s child being mine crossed my mind, and I couldn’t help but wish it wasn’t mine.

But, firstly, I would like to know what she was doing out there alone in the woods, all by herself.
