54 Stupidity and arrogance
Once Glynn got Noah to sign the divorce documents, she left the house without telling anyone. Glynn feared that if she was caught by someone, she might end up slipping. This was her first time doing something like this, but when she thought about how she needed to take this risk to clear the stain on her and her family’s name, she decided to march forward with her head held high.
Anyway, she was the princess of the Nelson family and grew up pampered. Her brother was the on who raised her and her mother was the one who taught her to never fear anyone as they would back her up. Glynn had never been punished heavily by her brother and mother, who cared for her as if she were a porcelain
doll.
Especially her brother, who never even raised his voice on her. As long as she shed a few tears, Glynn was certain that her brother would forgive her for taking his signature by lying to him. She was after all doing
this for him!
Ari was an embarrassment to their family, she had to

throw that woman out of the Nelson family, and only by doing so would Glynn be able to fix everything. Her mother and Noah were being foolish by playing along with the tune that the woman was playing. They needed to have that woman thrown out of the house ages ago, even now, if her brother were to divorce that woman, Ari would come crawling back in hours!
Her brother was acting like an idiot and Cynn couldn’t watch it anymore, with them not being able to think straight, the responsibility now fell on Glynn’s
shoulders.
She had to take care of that cheating, schei ing witch
once and for all.
‘I will show my brother, that he should have never even paid attention to that woman, Glynn thoug as she drove past the gates of her house and headed straight
to the Civil Affair Bureau.
Glynn arrived at the Civil Affairs Bureau in her flashy sports car in just fifteen minutes, the divorce papers were neatly placed in her branded bag, and she had her face covered with a mask, as Glynn did not want her identity to be known to others. She was afraid that if someone saw her at the entrance of the Bureau, they

would alert her brother, who would then come looking Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
for her.
More importantly, if she was photographed in front of the Civil Affairs Bureau, who knows what kind might
end up being spread all over the internet and the news
channels.
It was better to keep her head low and ge this job done as soon as possible. 2
Thankfully, no one caught her walking inside the Civil Affairs Bureau.
Glynn slipped inside the department, wher she headed straight for the chamber where the divorce papers were finalized and stamped.
“Good afternoon. How may I help you today” The woman sitting beside the counter looked up at Glynn with a professional smile before further inquiring, “Are you here to receive your divorce certificate or divorce
decree?”
“I am here to get these papers stamped,” Glynn took off her mask and then pressed the papers in front of the woman who sat behind the counter. “Get them
stamped today.”

The woman sitting beside the counter blinked her eyes, she looked at Glynn and recognized her in an instant, but she still did not understand what Glynn was trying to say. As the woman had never been married, why would she need to have divorce papers stamped?
Was she married without anyone knowing The woman questioned silently, but when she pulled the divorce papers towards her, the officer understood what was going on.
How could she not? The signatures and the names on the divorce papers belonged to Noah Nelsor and
Ariana Harlow!
“I am sorry, Miss Nelson, but this is not legal” the female officer said with an awkward and help ess expression. “The papers can only be finalized when either husband or wife submit them. In most cases, they should appear together-—”

“Do you think that my brother is as useless and free as you?” Glynn cursed at the officer, who flinched under her harsh voice. She opened her mouth to speak but

was cut off by Glynn, who sneered and said, “My brother is the one who sent me to have these documents submitted. What? Do you think that I, the heiress of the Nelson family would do something illegal?” ”
“And even if I do something illegal? What of it? Do you think that you can stop me?” Glynn chortled as she placed her hands flat on the surface of the cable. She leaned down and said to the officer, “Do you want to try whether I will be in trouble or you if we escalate
this matter?”
Glynn questioned the officer, who started to tremble under the harshness of Glynn’s words. She couldn’t understand what she had done to suffer like this.
“I would rather not be involved in trouble, Ms Nelson,” the officer quaked. She tried to expla.n, “Submitting divorce papers is not a simple matter. This is a question that is related to the lives of the married couple. If I legalize these documents in the absence of the couple, and they later raise a lawsuit against me that they never agreed to these papers getting stamped and approved, I will be the one who will be in
trouble.”

“Yada Yay,” Glynn used her hand to mimic a person speaking. She did not take the officer’s words to heart at all. Instead, she crossed her arms in front and then sneered, “What does that have to do with me? I don’t care if peasants like you get involved in a lawsuit or not. You might be unaware of this but one of your job is to listen to rich folks like me, alright? Don’t quibble with me, I know your bureau does this eve y day.” ・
However, when she saw the strong hesitation on the face of the female officer, Glynn rolled her eyes and then said, “Fine. Bring the head of the department, if you cannot do this at least he can right?”
