Contract Marriage With The Disabled CEO By Woody Rain Chapter 24
Chapter 24
Chapter 24 Come to Her Rescue
Before Betty reacted, she suddenly heard a cry. She looked up and found that it was Daisy running in
their direction hurriedly.
Daisy was Roger’s wife and Emily’s mother. But Daisy had nothing to do with Betty.
Betty’s mother, Sherry, was still in the hospital and could only survive on drugs.
Daisy got Emily up in a hurry. Jeffrey also came. Looking at Emily on the ground with tears in her eyes. Jeffrey was a bit angry. “Betty, what the hell are you doing!”
Unlike Emily who pretended to be gentle and innocent, Betty was as stubborn as usual. “She kept
saying terrible things to me. So I pushed her away accidentally. I’m sorry.”
“Accidentally?” Daisy raised her voice suddenly and glared at Betty. “You pushed my daughter on purpose! You’re jealous that Emily finds a good fiance, so you want to hurt her before the wedding! How could you be so cruel to your sister?”
“Aunt Scott, it was really an accident. Why should I envy Emily?”

“You’ve been jealous of Emily since you were still a kid. I know it very well,” Daisy’s voice got sharper. “Huh, like mother like daughter. You and your mother are both shameless b*tches.”
“Daisy,” Betty was totally irritated. “I will let it go this time because you are an elder in the family. But I warn you, never say a word about my mother, or there will be consequences!”
Betty’s red eyes scared Daisy. She could only turn to Roger for help.
Roger was embarrassed somehow. He stared at Betty and shouted, “Betty, apologize.”
Betty was trembling with anger. As she was about to say something, Jeffrey suddenly interrupted in
a cold voice.
“Mr. Walsh, you should mind your family stuff. Betty is just an illegitimate daughter. How come she shouts at your legal wife in such a loud voice in your home? Nonsense.”
Betty shivered and looked at Jeffrey in disbelief.
Jeffrey also looked at her, eyes full of disdain.
He thought that Betty was different from her mother, a mistress, but it turned out that she was just like her mother
Jeffrey said this not only to protect Emily but also to vent his resentment of being betrayed by Betty.
Hearing Jeffrey’s remarks, Emily thought that he was protecting her. She got stunned at first but soon she put on a grateful and proud look. “Jeffrey, you are so good to me…”

Although Roger was an elder, he didn’t dare to refute Jeffrey, the young master of the Martins. Roger turned pale and murmured, “I’m sorry. I will mind my family stuff from now on.”
Betty, who was stunned at first, finally regained her composure and looked at Roger angrily, “Father, what do you mean? Maybe other people don’t know the truth. You know everything clearly. My mother…”
Before Betty finished, Roger glared at her angrily and shouted, “Betty, shut up! Remember that you are not one of us. There is no place for you in our Watsons. Behave yourself properly.”
Roger’s words pierced Betty’s heart like a sharp knife.
Betty couldn’t say anything but remained silent.
She suddenly felt that her life was meaningless. Everything was meaningless.

Looking at the three staring at her defensively, Betty smiled bitterly.
They were a family. They loved each other.
And she was just an outsider, hated by all Watsons.

Then there was no need for her to be here.
“I’m sorry,” she said faintly. “Sorry to interrupt you. I am leaving.”
Then she walked out of the wine cellar without hesitation.
When she walked past Emily, she caught the vicious and proud look on Emily’s face.
“Emily…” Betty smiled faintly and said, “I wish you and Mr. Martin a happy marriage and a happy life forever.”
With that, Betty left without looking back.
When she walked out of the villa, she found that it was already dark.
Normally, there were no taxis or bus stations around the villas. Betty had to hail a car on phone. But before she ran the hailing app, her phone suddenly rang.
The caller ID showed that it was Kerwin. Betty confounded for a moment and put him through.
“Hello,”
“Hey, it’s me,” Kerwin’s deep and pleasant voice came from the other end of the line. “Are you having dinner in your father’s home?”
When she heard the voice of Kerwin, Betty wanted to weep somehow.
“Oh, no,” she said, trying to hold back her tears and sound more normal. “I have a cold. It may be better for me to leave.”
Kerwin was silent for a moment and asked, “Where are you now?”
“I’m at the Bourland Villa. Eh… You can have dinner first. Leave me a bowl of porridge. I’ll go back home right away.”
Before she finished, she found that there was no reply from the other end of the line. She frowned and found that her phone was dead.
Damn. Why at such a critical time.
Betty pressed her phone a few times in frustration to turn it on, but no use. She got depressed instantly. Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
How could she go back home now that her phone was dead?
Betty tried her best to recall the nearest bus stop around the villa and walked forward.
Besides, she was wearing high heels today. Her feet began to ache before she went far.
The Bourland Villa was big indeed. She hadn’t walked out of the villa for a long time.
The night wind was a bit cold. Betty, wearing a thin coat, couldn’t help tightening her clothes to keep her warm and kept moving forward, clenching her teeth.
Taking a few more steps, Betty suddenly saw the headlights flashing.
Betty got excited and wondered if it was a taxi, but soon she got disappointed. It was a black private
car
Alaxi didn’ı belong here, the villa area. All people living here were rich and powerful, out of her league in the first place,
But the car looked familiar to Betty.
Before she reacted, the car slowly moved in front of her and stopped.
As the door opened and the iron plate slanted down, a man in a wheelchair slid down slowly.
