Boyfriend For Rent (They Met Again)

Chapter 24 You Again?

Nina POV

“Are you expecting someone?” I asked, as I glanced at the door and back to her, with a questioning look on my face. I wonder why that person would wanna come interrupt us, can’t he or she just stay back home?

“No I don’t think so.” She replied, as she stood up, before walking over to the door, before opening if, followed by noises.

“Oh Nathan!” I heard her exclaimed at whoever was at the door. Wait! Don’t tell me she already has a friend here. Wow, that’ll be a good start then, at least she wouldn’t be on my neck all the time.

“Come in please.” She said to the person, and a few seconds later, the door closed, and I assumed the person already left, declining her offer.

“Eve please what do you have here? I’m famished.” I yawned hungrily, as I stretched my hands above my head. I didn’t bothered looking at whoever walked in, because I have no business with him or her, and besides, I’m tired, I can just ask to take a nap in Eve’s room.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Wow, a nice apartment you’ve got.” Came the familiar voice.

I tried processing the voice in my head, to know where I heard it from, and who it belongs to, but I couldn’t bring myself to wrapping my head around it, so I looked to the direction of the person, and was met with the shock of my life, my worst enemy, that dude from the mall. What! What’s he doing here? Don’t tell me they know each other.

“You again?” We both said at same time, as I stood up on my feet, glaring daggers at him. Now it’s time to teach him a lesson that he would never forget in his entire life, he think he can mess with me, and go scot free, but today, I’ll show him the dangerous things, which short people can do.

“You know each other?” Eve asked confusingly, glancing at us.

“This is the bastard I was telling you about Eve, that jerk that took the chocolate I was gonna get for you.” I huffed angrily, glaring hard at him.

“I wouldn’t stay back here, and watch you insult me miss, watch your mouth. And point of correction, I didn’t take your chocolate, I bought it, and paid for it. You know I could’ve given it to you, if you had spoken politely, but no, you decided to be rude. Been hearing that short people are stubborn and rude, I didn’t believe it, not until I met you today. You’re one hell of a rude fellow.” He scoffed and rolled his eyes, as he tucked his hands into his pocket, a smirk settling on his face.

Can you imagine, he’s really got some nerves, still insulting me, huh?

“Really? Like I said, what normal and responsible person would do back dear, is at least, help me get the chocolate, seeing how I was struggling to get it, but no, you decided to display your madness there. And did I forgot to tell you this? I heard tall people lacks sense, I partially believed it, coz some of the tall people I’ve seen, are mostly perverts, but I didn’t wanna be judgmental, thinking you would be different, but turns out I was mistaken, because you’re fucking worse than that, you lack manners, you lack sense, and you don’t even have a brain, because if you do, you wouldn’t do that nonsense you did back there.” I flared angrily.

“Can you two just calm down and tell me what the heck is going on here, huh?” Eve sighed, as she put her two hands on her waist.

“Tell this idiot to get out, if you don’t want me doing something nasty here, tell him to leave at once, else I’ll injure him.” I threatened, glaring at him.

“Is this how you fight often, huh? Why not just go join WWE, and wrestle with John Cena, or what’s this guy’s name? Yeah, Roman Reign.” He chuckled lightly.

“This isn’t over yet, I’ve marked your face dude, so anywhere you see me, just run for your dear life, else, you wouldn’t like what I will do to you.” I said, and eyed him, before walking away angrily to Eve’s room…

Evelyn POV

Oh my days! I can’t believe we’ve been planning against my own crush.

“Uhm… sorry about that. My friend can be very annoying at times, but trust me, shes a nice girl, she just freaks out when she’s angry.” I smiled, scratching the back of my head.

“It’s nothing to worry about. Uhm, Nora asked if you’ll be free tonight, so we could hang out together.” He said confidently.

“Sure. Uhm, how about you sit down and let me get you something to eat? I’m making lunch now.” I said, flashing him a smile, as I prayed silently for him to agree. I really want him to taste my food.

“Oh sorry Eve, but I would have to turn that down, I’ve got lots of works to do at home, so I got to run along. Maybe some other time.” He said with a smile on his face.

My heart tightened in disappointment, as I stared down at my toes, biting my bottom lip. What was I even expecting? That he would agree and eat with me? I must really be dumb for thinking that.

“Sure.” I nodded.

“Ok then, bye, and tell your friend to stop being rude, I’m gonna break her bones if she mess with me next time.” He smirked, before leaving.

“Oh my God he’s so cute. His smiles are so perfect, his eyeballs are the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen, and just look at his perfect shape, oh gosh! I feel like I’m going crazy.” I said dreamily, cupping my cheeks, as I sniffed his scent, which was yet to fade away.

“You’re going crazy indeed, I’m glad you know that.” Nina’s voice came from behind, and I jerked out of my world of fantasy, before turning to face her with an angry look on my face.

“You scared me Nina.” I whined, holding my chest.

“Whatever! Your dad wanna speak to you.” She rolled her eyes, holding out my phone to me, and my heart skipped. Oh no! Why’s dad calling me?…
