Chapter 119
Chapter 119
Bella clutched the test results in her trembling hands. After successfully obtaining Liam’s hair sample
from the daycare cleaner. She had set out and anxiously submitted them for testing at a clinic miles
away from town where no one could recognize her silently praying they wouldn’t be a match.
The results has just been given to her, she walked back to her car anxiously.
As she tore open the envelope with lightning speed, she swore softly, hoping for a mismatch. Her eyes
widened in disbelief as the words stared back at her: 99.9 percent match! Hazel. A guttural scream of
agony and rage escaped her, echoing in her car. Ethan and Hazel had kids together.
Desperation set in. “No, no, no! Where does this leave me now?” she muttered to herself. The fear of
Ethan abandoning her flooded her mind. Biting her l*p, she banged her head against the car seat, Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
aching for an escape from the reality of what was facing her.
Driven by rage, she stumbled out of her car upon reaching home, her emotions a chaotic whirlwind.
Heading straight to her study, she paced around restlessly.
“What would happen to me now?” she questioned herself still pacing around.
. The insurmountable fury propelled her into a whirlwind of emotions. In a fit of blinding rage, she
unleashed her wrath upon her study, swiping everything off her table, it all came crashing down.
Phones, gadgets, documents, and everything landed on the floor but She wasn’t done her rage was
still far from satiated, she began thrashing around wildly flinging things at the door and wall.
After several minutes, she stood breathing heavily amidst the wreckage, dangerously balancing in her
heels. Taking a deep, steadying breath, she wiped her tear-streaked face.
“Ethan doesn’t know yet,” she murmured to herself, the words laced with a mixture of dread and
desperation. “If he knew, he’d have pushed her even farther now.” Her thoughts raced as she begun
pacing around again.

“I just have to make sure he never finds out,” she whispered, a vow echoing in the hollow of her study.
Hazel was keeping it secret from him, she would get rid of them before he even finds out.
But how? This was beyond her; she would be needing help, someone who had

every reason to ruin Ethan: Derrick. She’d never met him before, but she was determined to find him
now, no matter how hard it was-even if she had to beat it out of Gabriel. Flinging her study door open,
she headed to her room.
“Ma’am, is there an issue?” a maid asked gently. She only glared at the girl. “My study’s a mess, clean
it up,” she ordered. “Hazel,” she seethed as she stormed up the stairs.
“Where is Derrick?” she asked Gabriel calmly over the phone.
“I don’t know,” came the reply.
“How do I find him?” she persisted.
“You can’t find him; he finds you. It’s been over five years, why do you need to find him now?” Gabriel
asked back.
“I need to find him,” she retorted angrily. “Give him a message for me, will you? Everything he worked
for would be useless if he and I don’t meet. Hazel and Ethan would be coming back together.”
With that, she hung up.
She passed the s**rse details of what she knew about Derrick to Sebastian, asking him to find the man.
He called her hours later. “You found him?” she asked the moment the phone was picked up. “The man
you’re looking for, Derrick, he died over ten years ago, almost fifteen years now,” Sebastian replied.
Bella’s steps faltered. How was that even possible? The man she talked with the other time, who told
her about Ethan, was Derrick. Then she recalled, Ethan once told her about a friend he lost in his mid-
teen years-Derrick Hale. Could it be the same one? Was that why he was so mysterious? Derrick had
been in this pack along with Ethan. Or Could he be a different one? Why would someone who was
dead have contacted
her?
“Keep an eye on Hazel and her kids for me,” she requested her brother, filling him in on all that had
happened while she waited eagerly and anxiously for news from Derrick.
“The moment Ethan comes close to them, let me know.”
Bella behaved normally for the rest of the day, even though she teetered on the brink of madness
within. She dismissed the workers early, following her usual routine of making dinner, and anxiously
waited for Ethan to return. Due to the heightened anxiety, she added a slightly larger dose than usual.

“Ethan,” she called the moment he walked in, plastering a smile across her face as she welcomed him.
Axel grappled with how to approach the topic of Bella with Ethan. The accusation of Ethan being
poisoned was serious, and Axel wasn’t certain about it; he lacked concrete proof. How? What kind of
poison? What were its effects? He couldn’t base everything on what a maid had told him, but he found
Bella suspicious. Despite Ethan seeming different for the past few days, a considerable part of it could
be attributed to missing Hazel’s twins.
“Let’s have dinner together from now on,” Axel suddenly proposed. Ethan shot him an incredulous look,
then chuckled lightly. “Where is this from, Axel?” Ethan asked. Axel shrugged, explaining, “I’m kinda
alone now, and it would be nice to have dinner once in a while.” Axel needed to investigate whether the
poisoning could be through food.
“So you want us to have dinner together?” Ethan asked. “Bella’s been making dinner these days; she’s
a pretty decent cook,” Ethan stated, not wanting to disappoint her. After some persuasion, Ethan finally
agreed, and he and Axel would have dinner together on some nights.
Meanwhile, Nathan was visiting more often. Trying to get the kids to adjust to him once more was a
little difficult, whenever they played they would mention Ethan and it was slowly beginning to get on his
nerves
Do you guys want chocolate, a toy, or something else?” Hazel offered with a hopeful smile. Their
lackluster response prompted her to inquire further, “Candy?”
However, the twins shook their heads, seemingly uninterested in the array of choices. Recognizing
their persisting gloominess, Hazel decided to take them out for a fun outing, hoping to alleviate their
moods. She had picked up Liam from school and thought a visit to the park might do the trick, but even
that had failed to brighten their spirits. Undeterred, she took them to a newly opened mall, anticipating
that shopping for toys could be the solution.
As they strolled through the bustling mall, the twins remained unresponsive to Hazel’s attempts to
engage them with various displays. Eventually, they found a place to sit, the lively atmosphere of the
mall failing to captivate them.
The two sat quietly and sulkingly.

“What do you guys want?” Hazel questioned, puzzled by the persisting moodiness of her twins. Liam,
breaking the silence, replied, “Nothing. I just don’t wanna play.”
“Can I get a burrito with corn dogs, Mummy?” Liam asked suddenly his eyes lighting up.
Hazel, eager to fulfill his request, asked, “Is that what you want?” Liam nodded.
She glanced at the bustling section where the burritos with corn dogs were being sold.
“There’s a really long line there, Liam. And I would have to wait for my order to be made,” she said with
a sigh, recognizing the eagerness of people to explore the newly opened mall.
Liam, seemingly indifferent to the food, muttered, “It’s okay,” and looked away. He wasn’t interested in
the burrito; rather, he simply wanted her to leave.
But Hazel was eager to make them happy.
“I’ll go stand in line right now, you guys don’t go anywhere ok?” She told the two.
The mall was crowded. It was the largest mall in the city. She couldn’t even imagine them getting lost
here.
The moment Hazel left, Liam sprang to his feet, prompting Daisy’s inquiry, “Where are you going?” His
vague response, “I dunno,” elicited an eye roll from Daisy
“What do you mean by you don’t know?” She asked incredulously.
“I just… I just wanna go over there,” Liam replied, his gaze averted as if beckoned by an unseen force.
Daisy, concerned about their safety, suggested, “Why not wait till Momma gets
back?”
Attempting to justify his urgency, Liam muttered, “I’ve gotta go now. I can’t hold it in, and started
walking away.
Daisy exclaimed, “Liam, you’ll get lost!”
Unperturbed, he replied, “I won’t,”
“Liam, this place is crowded.” She pleaded.

His unexpected revelation caught her off guard as he shared, “Ethan’s here.”
“What?” Daisy’s eyes widened in surprise. “Mr. Princess?” she asked.
Liam nodded firmly.
“How do you know that?” She asked him in disbelief.
“I just know it.” Liam answered, he seemed really sure of himself and his gaze remained fixed on the
exit of the store where they were seated.
Daisy, caught up in the excitement, urged, “Well, go bring him here then.” With a nod, Liam eagerly
headed out.
He didn’t know why but he could sense and feel that Ethan was here.
The mall buzzed with people, creating a lively atmosphere. Liam’s curious eyes darted around,
searching for the familiar figure of Ethan. To get a better view, he climbed a chair, and there, amidst the
crowd, he spotted Ethan’s familiar tall silhouette. Excitement lit up Liam’s face, and he eagerly sprinted
towards him.
Unaware of the little boy trailing him, Ethan was immersed in his rounds, inspecting his newly launched
shopping mall.
“Mr. princess!” Liam yelled trailing after Ethan,, his tiny voice lost in the crowd
Liam’s little legs went as fast as they could his eyes trained on Ethan trying to reach him.
