Chapter 9 The Person Who Helped Diana Was Judson
Chapter 9 The Person Who Helped Diana Was Judson
Sally's heart skipped a beat, with a change of expression on her face. She wasn't a fool and knew it
very well that the reason why Diana's company had risen to fame in N City last year was that her
company had succeeded in cooperating with Ray Group. When Sally's daughter went to the group to
discuss cooperation, Judson said he could help her since he had friends in it. However, the group
directly ended all cooperation with the company as soon as her daughter divorced Judson and she
drove him out of home yesterday!
Her heart tumbled and face couldn't help turning from pale to livid. Was it really a coincidence? Did
Judson truly have so much power that he could help Diana?
Seeing her ever-changing face, Lucrezia immediately raised her eyebrows. "Sally, you must know
something! Please tell us."
Oh... Sally was surprised, hurriedly waved her hand and said, "No, I know nothing! I mean it!"
Rosy was completely worried and said, "Sally, do you really want to turn a blind eye to Diana's
company on the verge of bankruptcy? It has been very hard for her to start her own business these
years! Don't you care about it?"
Lucrezia also said, "Sally, if the company goes bankrupt, it doesn't matter we are disbanded. But if we
cannot pay back our supplier, Diana will be sent to prison and you will lead a hard life!"
Hearing those words, she instantly looked very pale.
Just when she nearly couldn't bear that, Diana walked out of her bedroom slowly in pajamas, leaned
against the door weakly and said, "The person that helped me should be Judson. He asked me to
discuss cooperation with Ray Group..."
"Judson?" Both Lucrezia and Rosy frowned deeply at that moment.
Lucrezia even said, "Diana, Judson is just a live-in son-in-law and comes from a poor family. How can
he know the staff from the Ray Group? Are you sure it was he that helped you?"
Diana shook her head and said, "I don't know either. In fact, I have taken little interest in his matters
since he married me and lived with my family. But he's not a liar..."
Rosy said, "Never mind. If it wasn't him, we can still find the person who really helped you. But if it was
him, things will be much easier to fix. You can ask him to turn to his friend for help. Then at least our
company can renew contact with the Ray Group!"
Lucrezia nodded, "Well, good idea. By the way, Sally, where's Judson? Tell him to come here and ask
whether he can fix this..." Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
After hearing Lucrezia wanted him, Sally's face became more unnatural. "That good-for-nothing,
he...he...yesterday he…"
Lucrezia frowned and said, "What was going on with him?"
"He got divorced with Diana yesterday..." Sally said palely.
"What? Divorced?" Hasty Rosy jumped to her feet and her eyes were fixed upon Sally.
"Divorced? How dare he..." Lucrezia frowned and said.
Rosy gave a snort of contempt. "He rightly dare not ask for a divorce. But the fact was that the Ray
Group ended all cooperation with us without warning just when he left home yesterday. Besides, Diana
said just now that it was he that asked her to negotiate cooperation with the group on behalf of her
family. That he could say such words means his friend must be an executive at least! Uh huh. Sally, do
you think there is such a coincidence in the world?"
Although hasty, Rosy was kind-hearted. She was Diana's friends and knew better than anyone else
that her mother was a nuisance. So she guessed Judson was likely to be rousted out by her.
As a matter of fact, she had nothing to do with Judson, so she didn't care about his marriage status.
Since the company came near to bankruptcy and she had a share in it, she was unkind to Sally at that
moment!
Sally looked a little pale and said, "I don't think so. If he really has wealth and influence, he couldn't
have lived in my home and put up with my insults. No man can tolerate that."
Hearing what she said, Rosy thought she wasn't mindless although she had a sharp tongue. Rosy
agreed with what she said because it made sense.
At that moment, after hearing what her mother said, it occurred to Diana what her best friend Aurora
said. "If you really want to know why he did that thing, there is only one possibility, which is that he
loves you..."
Diana suddenly felt a little pain in her heart. She said to herself, "If he's really rich and powerful, yet he
is willing to endure the insult from my mother for one year for the sake of me. Should I divorce a man
like this?"
Rosy took a deep breath and said slowly, "Well, there's no point making a wild guess. It cannot solve
the problem. Sally, for the sake of both the company and Diana, you'd better go for Judson and find out
whether if it was he that helped Diana! As for Diana, Lucrezia and I will stay to take care of her."
