Chapter 39
Chapter 39
Arabella was worried about Kenneth, so she hastily threw back the covers and scrambled out of bed.
She looked for Kenneth in the room but couldn't find him.
Did he go out?
"Kenneth? Kenneth? Ah!"
The door to the bathroom was suddenly pulled open, and a large, long hand poked out, catching her
slender arm and pulling her in.
She was pinned against the door, and Arabella then saw the person in front of her. It was Kenneth.
Kenneth had taken the cold shower several times. His black shirt and black pants were all wet, and
water kept dripping down from his short dark hair.
Covered in a watery mist, Kenneth looked extraordinarily handsome and sex.
"Are you looking for me?" Kenneth's voice was very hoarse.
Arabella raised her hand and touched his forehead. His forehead was even hotter than before. It
seemed that Sharon really longed to have a great-grandson, and the tonic she prepared for Kenneth
this time was very strong.
"Let me help you!" Arabella took a silver needle in her hand and wanted to help ease the uncomfortable
feeling of Kenneth.
Kenneth, however, clasped her slender wrist and then buried his handsome face in her neck. "Bella, I'm
feeling so uncomfortable," he whispered.
Arabella's heart missed a beat. She had never expected that Kenneth, such a strong and domineering
man, would also be clingy like a kid.
"Bella, I've taken the cold shower several times, but I just feel so hot. I was supposed to stay here
alone, but why did you come to me?"
He murmured in a husky voice by her ear, and Arabella's heart softened.
"I... I didn't mean to disturb you. I can leave if you want."
Kenneth interrupted her. "You are always like this, Bella. Abandon me after you titillate me! But do you
think that you can still get out of here this time?"
Then, Kenneth raised his hand, landed his fingers on the nightgown Arabella was wearing, and began
to unbutton it.
Arabella's eyes widened. She instantly caught his hand as she remembered the woman who answered Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
the phone call she made on his business trip.
So what did she mean to him?
Just a lover of him?
Arabella was suddenly wide awake and quickly came back to her senses. "Kenneth, if you really feel
uncomfortable, you can go find another woman to help you."
Kenneth's tall, handsome body stiffened straight away, and he immediately paused.
He slowly raised his head and looked at Arabella coldly. His eyes reddened with anger. "What did you
say? Say that again!"
Arabella felt that Kenneth looked very scary at this moment, but she still screwed up her courage and
said, "Kenneth, since you refused me to give you the treatment with the silver needle, it's obvious that
you want a woman to help you more, so you can go out and find another woman to help!"
Her words ignited Kenneth's anger, and Kenneth's eyes immediately darkened. Arabella actually told
him to go out and find another woman!
Rage bubbled just below the surface of his mind, and Kenneth had to clench his fists to suppress his
anger.
The next second, he threw a direct punch.
When his fierce fist came, Arabella didn't dodge away, but instinctively, she closed her eyes.
Bang! There was a loud sound, and Kenneth's fist smashed into the glass mirror beside Arabella.
He didn't hurt her.
Arabella opened her eyes and saw that Kenneth's fist was cut by the shard of glass. Blood was running
down the mirror.
The cuts on the back of his hand looked very terrible.
"Kenneth, your hand..."
Kenneth let go of her, slammed the door, and left without saying anything.
