Chapter 102
Chapter 102
Before Arabella could say anything, Kenneth raised his eyes. "I don't think it's OK."
"What's wrong?"
"I remember you just met in Springfield, so it isn't a long time ago."
"For us, one day apart seems like three years. Mr. Lucero, please let her have a day off. You could
spend 200 million on a beauty while Bella can't accompany her best friend for a while? It doesn't make
sense."
Kenneth was and he knew Aurora did this on purpose. "Many people will miss Bella at home, such as
grandma, Rylie..."
Aurora said ruthlessly, "That's none of my business."
Kenneth didn't say a word and then stared at Arabella, his deep eyes ablaze with affection.
Of course, Arabella understood what he meant. He wanted her to go home.
He even used grandma and Rylie as excuses.
Arabella nodded. "Okay. I'll stay with you. Mr. Lucero, just tell grandma that I won't be home tonight."
Kenneth glanced at the bright neon lights outside the window and then curled his lips. "Just this one
night. I'll pick you up tomorrow."
"No. Bella gets to decide how long she will stay here," said Aurora.
Kenneth shut his mouth because it would be useless to say anything. After all, he couldn't take
Arabella from her best friend.
Arabella glimpsed Kenneth and he seemed emotionless. The sleeves of his white shirt were rolled up
and he wore a Luxury watch. He was calmly driving the car, elegant and charming.
Arabella knew that he was angry though. Because he undid a button of his shirt, which cast a shade of
displeasure and gloom over him.
Then Arabella looked away.
...
At the Winery Villa.
Arabella and Aurora got out of the car. Aurora politely said to Kenneth, "Thanks, Mr. Lucero. Goodbye,
Mr. Lucero". Then she grabbed Arabella's hand and left without looking back.
As soon as they entered the elevator, Aurora said proudly, "Mr. Lucero seems to be angry, but he
deserves it. Sure I will back you up."
Arabella did want to be away from Kenneth for a while. It was good for them to separate and calm
down a bit. NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
As they entered the apartment, Aurora smilingly leaned over. "You must have got him a good time the
night you went back from Springfield. Did you notice the look on his face when I told you not to go
home? If you weren't there, I would be terrified and give up soon."
Arabella's ears turned red. "We didn't do anything."
"Really? Tell me the truth. How far did you guys get?"
"We..." Arabella stuttered. "We just...kissed..."
