Zaha, Abul, and the rest werewolf leaders saw the young men with daggers advancing toward them.

The ruthless glint in their eyes sent shivers down the spines of the werewoll leaders.

They were acutely aware of the calamity their kind had brought upon this city.

Now defeated by Gilmore, their cultivation prowess completely neutralized, they knew the people here must be itching to skin them alive to vent their fury.

These werewolf leaders had always seen humans as mere prey, taking lives at will.

But now, they found their destiny in the hands of mankind.

The suffocating proximity of death gripped them with fear.

The young men, with daggers glinting coldly, closed in.

Then, in a nearcollapsing voice, the surrender came, “Young master, please don’t kill me. I… I can tell you where our werewolf clin’s den is.”“”

The voice of surrender came from the werewolf leader Karul Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

Indeed, Karul didn’t want to die–he was the first to surrender.

This caught Abul, Zaha, and the other leaders off guard.

Soon after, as if on cue, they all echoed in unison to Gilmore, “Young master, spare our lives, and we too are willing to divulge the location of our werewolf clan’s den

Following this, the rest of the werewolf leaders also surrendered one by one, ready to reveal the whereabouts of their den.

Karul had already given in

Even if the others remained silent, Karul would spill the beans.

And if Karul disclosed the location of the werewolf clan’s den and the likes of Zaha kept their lips sealed, Gilmore would surely eliminate Zaha and any other tight–lipped werewolf leaders.

The werewolf leaders, desperate to avoid death, followed Karul’s lead and surrendered to Gilmore.

Gilmore nodded, “Smart move. Otherwise, you’d all be wolf carcasses by now.”

Then he addressed them, “Now, spill the beans. Where is the werewolf den located?”

The eight werewolf leaders, including Karul, didn’t hesitate to reveal the location of their clan’s den.

Eager to survive and gain Gilmore’s trust, they divulged not only the whereabouts of their hideout but also many secrets of

their clan.

From the lips of these leaders, Gilmore learned that the werewolf den was about 125 miles from Saint Light, nestled deep within the Orbus Mountains in a massive cavern.

The den of the werewolves was located in this cavern.

However, this cavern was not the only werewolf den. It

It was just one of many.

This particular den housed about 30,000 werewolves, including sub–chief who acted as the high commander of these thousands, along with fifty mid–level leaders and a hundred sul leaders.

24%

As for the rest of the werewolf army, the majority had relocated to several key cities within Aro, where they were conquering territories.

Gilmore then turned to Aguilar and the others. “Aguilar, you and the rest return to the underground shelter. I’m going to pay a visit to the werewolf den.”

Hearing that Gilmore intended to go alone, Aguilar and the others couldn’t hide their concern.

Gilmore was currently the sole beacon of hope for the survivors in Saint Light.

They really didn’t fancy the thought of him running into trouble at the werewolf den.

“Mr. Reed, wouldn’t it be too risky for you to go there alone?” Aguilar furrowed his brows, clearly worried.

Gilmore simply smiled, “What, didn’t you just see me make mincemeat out of those werewolves?”

Aguilar hurriedly nodded, “Yes, yes, we did.”

In truth, given the strength Gilmore had demonstrated against the five thousand werewolves, there was indeed little to worry about..

Gilmore reassured, “Since you’ve seen what I can do, then rest easy. I’ll be fine.

Even if I can’t handle all the werewolves in the den, I should be able to look after myself just fine, Gilmore assured.

Aguilar and the others‘ faces, etched with concern, finally eased a bit upon hearing this.

Gilmore then turned to Abul and Zaha, along with the other werewolf leaders, and said, “We’re heading to your werewolf clan’s den now.”

As soon as he finished speaking. Gilmore channeled his anima and a dome of light immediately enveloped him and the eight werewolf leaders.

With a command, the dome, driven by Gilmore’s will, took off, carrying Abul, Zaha, and the others away.

Deep in the Orbus Mountains, surrounded by an almost impregnable ring of peaks, lay a cavern that no human dared to

enter.

The entrance to this natural wonder was nearly three hundred feet wide–a gaping maw leading into impenetrable darkness.

with a radius of several miles, was devoid of any wildlife, like a land touched by death, keeping even birds and beasts at bay.

This area,

Looking into this abyss, Gilmore beheld the werewolves‘ den as described by Abul and his compatriots,

“All right, we’ve arrived at your den. You can go back and tell your sub–chief to come out and meet me. I’ll be waiting outside,” Gilmore said, then gestured with a wave of his hand, and the dome of light carried the eight werewolf leaders down into the depths of the cavern.

It was as if they were riding a giant balloon descending into the cavern’s mouth

They could hardly believe that Gilmore would just let them go back into the cavern like that.

The dome, like a floating balloon, carried the werewolf leaders into the cavern below, while Gilmore himself landed gracefully on a nearby cliff.

Standing there with his hands behind his back, under the night day bathed in moonlight, he looked as dashing as an

immortal.

About an hour after Abul and the other leaders entered the cavern, the stillness was shattered by the sounds of whistling through the air, as if a swarm of werewolves were bursting forth

It seemed like a swarm of werewolves had burst forth all at once With a cacophony of flapping wings that never seemed to cease, group after group of werewolves took to the sky from the celestial cavern

This relentless exodus continued for a good fifteen minutes.

Soon, tens of thousands of werewolves had emerged, quickly ascending to blanket the sky, congregating above the cliff where Gilmore stood.

And as this mass of werewolves vacated the cave, a terrifying aun of murderous intent followed, seeping out of the cave along with a mass of green light.

Then, a figure appeared, a 15–foottall werewolf with azure wings and a wolf’s head soared out of the celestial cave.

This giant, wielding a silver trident several feet long in his right hand, flew out from the cave.

With the silver trident in hand and massive blue wings that shimmered, the giant werewolf flew into the midst of the thousands in the air, standing tall above them, holding the trident as if he were a grand demon overlord.

His presence brought a terrifying pressure.

Indeed, this werewolf, clutching the silver trident, was none other than the sub–chief of this werewolf den.

The mid–level leaders circled around him.

Though these mid–level werewolf leaders were significantly larger than the common werewolf, they seemed almost meager in the presence of their sub–chief.

The werewolf sub–chief, with a piercing gaze, looked down at Gilmore on the cliff and bellowed like a tolling bell. “Are you the one who defeated my nine mid–level leaders and led to the demise of my five thousand brave warriors?”

It went without saying, this sub–chief had been informed by the eight mid–level leaders, now known as the fallen, about their entire battalion’s defeat.

Gilmore looked back at the werewolf sub–chief and responded, “Yes, I’m the one who led to the downfall of your five thousand werewolves. Are you the werewolf chief known as Tyler?”

Before coming to this place, known as Landen, Gilmore had already gleaned clear information about their sub–chief from the eight werewolf leaders.

The sub–chief was named Tyler Skinner, a century–old werewolf with the strength of a Cultivation Emperor beginner, at formidable presence even among the cultivators.

Within this werewolf hierarchy, naturally, he was a supreme leader–a sub–chief.

Tyler, gazing at Gilmore perched upon the cliff, noted Gilmore’s words that carried not a hint of fear or respect for his high

status.

A vast wave of rage swelled within him, pressing down on Gilmore like a mountainous force.

However, Gilmore, facing the overwhelming pressure from Tyler, remained utterly unfazed, which secretly astonished the subchief aloft in the sky.

As a werewolf of emperor level strength, a mere hint of his oppressive aura was enough to make his mid–level leaders

crumble to their knees.-

Yet here was Gilmore, standing unaffected as if he were a bystander, making the sub–chief realize the staggering extent of Gilmore’s power

Even with this revelation, Tyler was still brimming with confidence, believing his cultivation and strength surely surpassed

Gilmore’s

He was convinced he could defeat Gilmore.

Tyler’s eyes shimmered with intensity as he addressed Gilmore, Young man, who has sent you here?

“What exactly is your relation to the Aro?”

Gilmore offered a slight smile in response. “No one has sent me

“My relation to the Aro Empire? There is none whatsoever.”

Hearing Gilmore’s words, Tyler’s brow furrowed deeply.

No one had sent Gilmore to deal with the werewolves, and he had no ties to Aro. This plunged Tyler into confusion.

He spoke to Gilmore with a chilling tone, “If no one has sent you and you have no relations with Aro

“Then why do you antagonize our werewolf kind?”

Gilmore placed a hand over his heart and declared solemnly, “Conscience.”

Upon hearing this, Tyler was taken aback, then let out a scoffing laugh. “Conscience? You jest!

“What’s conscience worth in the face of werewolves? It’s nothing

“And you think your conscience can stop our werewolf clan from dominating the Aro?

“That’s naive and laughable.”

However, Gilmore remained unamused, his demeanor solemn and commanding as he addressed Tyler, “No, in the eyes of you werewolves, conscience might be worthless.

“But to us humans, it holds great value.

“A person without conscience is no better than a devil.

“It’s precisely because I have a conscience that I cannot stand by and watch more innocent people of Aro fall under the cruel, coldblooded, and murderous claws of werewolves like you.

“That’s why I’m here. Not only do I intend to make you werewolves pay for your crimes, but I’m also here to shatter your ambitions of ruling over Aro once and for all.”

The werewolf subchief and his entourage, initially dumbstruck by Gilmore’s declaration akin to a call to arms, soon burst into laughter.

Tyler’s laughter resonated first, “Hahaha…”

Following the Tyler’s cue, the rest of the mid–level werewolf leaders joined in the mirth, “Hahaha..

Finally, the tens of thousands of werewolf warriors in the sky also echoed the laughter, “Hahaha…”
