Chapter-67: past flashes-1
Felicia blinked a few times processing her memory and then enquired. "Do you have any of your mother's belongings like jewellery, any piece of art or her diary. Anything which actually belongs to her, not just gifted?" Allison shook her head slowly but then something clicked in her mind.
"Wait.... I think I have something." She stood up and removed her coat. Lyceon looked at her movements in anticipation. For a moment, his jaws ticked as possessiveness coated his eyes seeing her removing her clothes but she only took off her coat and flipped her hair back before pulling the chain out of her high-neck top, which was clinging near to her collarbone.
The glass-like green pendant shone brightly when she held it and she showed it to Felicia.
"I have this. I don't know if it's my mother, but she gave it to me on my tenth birthday before going to the war. She told me that it will protect me from evil eyes and I shouldn't lose it or pass it on to anyone. So I always keep it with me." Felicia neared her and stared at the flat round green colour stone with a small angel flying pattern inside it linked to the golden chain. Wondering, she touched the pendant and instantly a protective surge ran through her body. She gasped and pulled back her hand. Her eyes flashed golden and Allison turned alert.
"What.. what happened?" she asked in worry. Everyone looked at her with surprise.
"Felicia, what is it?" Lyceon asked curtly.
"It is a protective pendant. The one casted with a strong spell. My goddess, I felt a powerful push in my body. Who made it?" She wheezed, staring at the pendant. Allison shook her head not knowing it. "You.. you can't touch it?"
"Oh no! I can but not everyone. This is not an ordinary Pendant, Allison. I guess it might be created and casted by your mother as only a powerful witch can design this kind of thing with an intense spell. If that's the case...." She looked at Lyceon and all others with hope on her face, ".. then It will do."
"You mean, it will help Allison to project the past memories?" Ashina raised her brows.
"That's what I meant." Felicia said, nodding and touching the pendant again and clenching her mouth, closing her eyes. She let the pendant savour her as she was not keeping any malicious intentions to use it. The pendant was for protection from evil spirits but she was a Fae. A pure Fae. And she knew the spell cast on it would allow her to go through it.
"Very well. What are you waiting for then?" Lyceon stood up to go to Allison but Felicia's next statement made him cease his movements.
"But it might be a little risky too, King. Allison's soul might be stuck there if something goes wrong..."
"What the fuck!"
"Iam not letting her do this!"
Lyceon and Mason barked at the same time whereas Lyceon's eyes flashed red with the thought. He couldn't lose his mate in any case. "Let's do it, Cia." Allison's voice snapped his head at her. But she didn't meet his gaze and kept looking at Felicia.
"Ali, have you gone mad? Didn't you hear what she just said? Your soul might be lost there in the memories. No, I don't support this. We will find another way to do this." Mason retorted, raking his hand on his hair. Rebecca looked at his tensed features. He looked so exhausted with those bags under his eyes. She had this urge to comfort him but she averted her gaze and resisted her desire.
"When? Till then those enemies would be breathing on our corpses. We don't have much time, Mason. Please don't pull me back. I want to do this!" Allison stared at him with a curt nod. He thinned his lips and looked away. He knew how urgent it was for them but the risk was also lurking around.
Lyceon too, didn't want her to try this which could put her life in risk but He was convinced that Allison would do this anyhow whether He permit this or not. He walked to her before holding her hand.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked for the last time to which Allison nodded slowly.
"It might be.. Triggering, painful and overwhelming." Lyceon whispered not wanting to see her in a painful state.
"And necessary too. Our parent's deaths shouldn't be wasted in vain, Lyceon. I need to do this. I have to." Lyceon looked into her determined stare, her emerald eyes were burning with emotional fire. The girl He first laid his eyes on was different from the girl sitting in front of him. She didn't fear him anymore. She was just eighteen years old but more mature, brave and fighting spirit. He felt proud of his mate and her courage.
Lyceon pressed his lips before squeezing her hand and sighed. "As you want." He turned to Felicia and nodded. Felicia nodded back and asked Allison to lay on the sofa comfortably. Lyceon moved to kiss her on the forehead, startling her. "Remember that I Am always beside you." He whispered in her ear and moved back. No way in hell, He would leave her to some shitty flashes alone, He will go to the end of hell holes even if He had to play with his own life. Allison bit her lip and swallowed hard. She was scared no doubt as she didn't want to witness something horrendous and painful but she knew she had to if they wanted to put it to an end once and for all. And she was ready. No ifs and buts.

Felicia sat on the floor near her laying body And clutched the pendant in her hand carefully.
"Allison, give me your hand and close your eyes!" Felicia instructed her. She did the same. Everyone was seated around her hoping for her to be safe and secure.
"Are you ready, Allison!" Felicia asked softly. Allison swallowed once again and nodded finally. Then Felicia covered her palm with her own and chanted something in an alien language.
After a minute, Allison's vision started darkening before a strong flashlight erupted her vision abruptly and she flinched, clutching Felica's hand tightly.
"Calm down Allison, keep looking at the brightness and follow the path. Look carefully, let your soul flow into the light. Let it wander...." Felicia's voice faded and Allison followed the ray of light and soon it turned into orangish sunshine as she found herself standing in a beautifully summer garden, surrounded with bushes of purple and pink pale roses with sunlight showering upon them.
Allison looked around as the sounds of birds chirping invaded her ears. She was mesmerised by the calmness and beauty around. She looked down at herself and felt that she was in her soul form.
She heard a few voices a little far away from her. The human voices!
Allison looked up and thought to find the source of the voices so she turned around and found the direction which led her to the big clearing. Allison walked ahead and looked at the people, particularly youngsters moving around, playing, talking and laughing.
Wondering, she kept walking forward through the crowd until her gaze fell on someone familiar. Her eyes widened as she paused there shell-shocked.
