JEALOUS
“Son, Samarra, shouldn’t you be doing that somewhere else?”Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
Samarra was startled by what she heard and rolled her eyes as she noticed that Daddy Calvin was not alone in front of the elevator. She saw board members, as well as Uncle Vincent and Uncle Ken, standing and staring at her.
It appears as though Samarra would like those hours to vanish.
She also appeared to stand up when she noticed Ezekiel staring at them. She couldn’t read his mind, but she could see his disgust at what he saw.
“Wait, what?” When Samarra pushed Zachary’s back against the elevator wall, he couldn’t finish his sentence.
He frowned when he saw Samarra’s stunned expression as if she had seen a ghost. Even though he appeared to be sweating profusely, he immediately turned to the elevator door.
“Dad?!”
“Oh, why are you so surprised? It’s fine, but I hope you finish your studies before giving us a grandchild.” Zachary was looking at his father as if he liked what he saw. Seriously? His father was speaking to him in this manner. They ended up in the study room to scold him the last time they talked.
“Don’t worry, Dad, we just ki-” Zachary could not continue speaking after Samarra squeezed his hand. He looked at her as if she were attempting to say, “Don’t talk; I’m warning you.”
“Dad, Zachary, and I will go first. Please excuse our interruption.” Samarra grabbed Zachary’s hand and dragged him out of the elevator. Samarra couldn’t look at the people they met because she felt Ezekiel’s piercing gaze on her. She thought she was sinning whenever Ezekiel saw her with Zachary; she felt there was a barrier between them.
“Sure, go ahead and enjoy your date.”
Samarra and Zachary turned to face Daddy Calvin, smiling and waving. Samarra couldn’t hear what Uncle Vincent and Uncle Ken were saying to Daddy Calvin as they smiled and patted him on the shoulder, but she was sure they were talking about them.
Samarra sighed as they exited the building, recalling Ezekiel’s look at her. She feels guilty for reasons she doesn’t understand. She believes she has done something wrong without realizing it.
“Why? Are you OK?” She slowly shifted her focus from Zachary’s face to their clasped hands. When Zachary stopped and hugged her tightly, she was startled.
“Are you embarrassed that they witnessed us kissing?”
She stooped further and squeezed Zachary’s chest in response to his last words.
She is indeed timid, but she does not know why. Was it because many people saw them, or did Ezekiel see them?
“OK, we won’t kiss in front of many people when it’s just the two of us.” When Samarra looked up, she noticed Zachary’s mischievous smile. His enticing eyes met hers. I imagined she smiled at the mischief. He laughed because she pinched his side.
“Stop for tea-”
Samarra said she was cut off. When his lips touched hers, Her eyes widened when she saw Daddy Calvin walk out of the building. She quickly stopped Zachary by tapping him on the shoulder.
“Why? Do you want more?”
Shit! Why did he think that when she tapped him? She glared at him and turned away. Zachary grabbed her arm right away.
“Ara, what’s the matter with you?”
“You’d like to perform a live show.” Zachary frowned as Samarra spoke. A live show? What the hell happened? What live show does she mention?
“Turn around.”
He immediately obeyed Samarra’s instructions and noticed that Dad and his companions had left the building. When he realized why Samarra had stopped him, he laughed.
“So?”
“What exactly do you mean?”
“So, what? If they see us. We’re married; there’s nothing wrong with what we’re doing; it’s just normal for that couple.” Samarra was unable to respond to Zachary’s declaration.
Of course, there is nothing wrong with what they are doing, but why does she feel that way?
“By the way, where are we going, and what vehicle are we using? I forgot to bring my car, “Zachary inquired.
What happened to Jameson? She questioned herself.
Suddenly, a car stopped in front of them as she went looking for Jameson. Jameson exited the vehicle and walked up to them.
“Lady Summer.” James bowed to her despite her repeated warnings not to do so because she no longer considered him her bodyguard.
“Here.”
She grabbed Zachary’s hand and led him to the backseat of the car, where Jameson was waiting. She immediately entered and pulled Zachary’s hand, but he remained standing outside, causing him to stagger closer to the door and look up.
“What? Will you enter, or won’t you?” Before Zachary looked at her, she took a deep breath; she had no idea what he was like. He had an annoyed expression on his face.
“It’s our first date. Why must we be with Jameson?” While looking at Samarra, Zachary couldn’t help but be irritated.
Samarra moved her gaze to the front, where Jameson sat. Jameson’s face showed the disgust he had heard from Zachary. She felt terrible for Jameson because she knew he was paying attention to what Zachary was saying.
“James?”
She was embarrassed by what Zachary was doing, and he was doing the job, so she hesitated to speak. She couldn’t figure out why Zachary’s blood felt so hot to Jameson. Jameson never makes a mistake. On the other hand, she understands Zachary because this is their first date; perhaps he doesn’t want them to be with anyone else.
“It’s OK, Lady Summer,” Jameson said as he got out of the car and opened the backseat door to assist her.
“Thank you, I’m sorry,” she said as she stepped out of the car.
She drew closer to Zachary and grasped his hand; she could see on his jaw that he was repressing anger. She had no idea what had upset him again.
“Cadden, let’s go.” She seized his hand and dragged him into the vehicle. She exhaled deeply before approaching the car.
Jameson immediately unlocked the passenger seat, which Zachary was frowning at and pushing angrily with his shoulder, and assisted Samarra into the vehicle.
“Cadden, stop.” Samarra stopped the two men; she believed that Jameson was also holding back, and she did not want him to strike Zachary because she was sure he was poor. Jameson studied martial arts since childhood, and his mafia family has been assigned to watch over her since her accident.
“Why? Do you like him?” Samarra discovers Zachary’s accusation against her; she has no idea where he obtained the words or why he believes she likes Jameson.
“My god! Cadden, are you crazy? Jameson is both my bodyguard and my assistant. And it’s as if we’re just brothers. So, please, no trouble. Stop, Jameson; if you want us to leave, come in.”
She tapped Jameson on the shoulder, nodded, and walked away from them.
She got into the car, and Zachary followed her into the driver’s seat. She closed her eyes, not wanting to see him. She might say something terrible. It was as if he was jealous of what he was doing in front of Jameson.
While Zachary was driving, he kept an eye on Samarra, sitting with her arms folded and eyes closed. She closed her eyes because she didn’t want to see him.
He knew he was wrong but couldn’t date because a chaperon would follow them. Even though he is Samarra’s bodyguard and assistant, he still does not trust Jameson; he is a man.
He is aware that Jameson harbors romantic feelings for his wife. He wasn’t a fool, especially not a joke, so he couldn’t see Jameson’s demeanor or how he looked at Samarra.
“I’m sorry.”
She gasped when Zachary kissed the back of Samarra’s hand. She sincerely apologized to Zachary.
She exhaled deeply and unbuckled her seatbelt. She hugged Zachary; she could forgive him no matter what because Samarra was already aware that she was in love with Zachary.
“I’m-”
“Let’s forget it,” she interrupted what Zachary was about to say. She leaned against his chest and closed her eyes. She could hear his heavy breathing.
“You decide where we go. I’ll take a quick nap, “Samarra explained.
Zachary smiled as he observed Samarra leaning comfortably against his chest. He knows, whether he admits it or not, that he has feelings for Samarra. When they are together, they have a sense of contentment and happiness. He has no idea what he is for Samarra, but he will do anything to make their marriage work. Before starting the car, he kissed the top of Samarra’s head; he had no idea where he was going.
