Chapter 163
Hector POV
I was intrigued to train with Kala.
To know at what point her memory stops and that natural instinct to survive kicks in.Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
She's an impressive fighter, I've seen that for myself but whether all her training will have gone with her memory or whether her wolf was born to fight...now that I was eager to find out.
The doctor might be ready to sign her off for training but I was hesitant to let her train in a group setting. I wanted to train her just with me for the time being...
"I thought we were training in a group?" Kala's eyes dart around the alpha home's secluded back garden.
"In time, I want to see what you remember first before unleashing you on to my warriors."
"For my protection or theirs?" She smugly smirks as she starts stripping her clothes off.
That feigned arrogant mask slips slightly as she starts pulling at her clothes.
If you want I can give you some privacy to shift."
"Why? Do you have a problem with being naked?" Her mask was back on now.
"On the contrary...I welcome it." I lick my lips as she continues to strip in front of me.
"Your turn." She smirks with raised eyebrows as she pops her hip out and crosses her arms under her breasts.
Two can play at that game.
I start to remove my clothes, letting my lower region spring free from my boxers shorts...her eyes trying her best not to look, to fight the bond...but she was losing. How best she tries, she can't beat the mate bond.
"Ready Alpha?" Her eyes roam me, leaving a warmth upon my skin.
"Ready Luna." I smirk back, as a growl escapes her.
And was I glad I held off to train her just by myself. She was miraculous.
I had never taken to fairy tales but here she was, an ethereal being gifted to us by the moon goddess. herself.
Her white fur shone under the day's blistering heat, her wolf diving out of my wolf's attacks, only to be covered with mud and grass from the ground below.
Yet she was not nearly as covered as I was, she was nimble, quick and made it look like no effort at all. J've never seen a she-wolf...scrap that...a werewolf like her. It was clear that amnesia or not, she was born to fight.
She was starting to enjoy herself, forgetting that she was trying to ignore the bond. She doesn't know but
having marked her, I can pick up on her emotions without her knowing. Like, when she tried to escape from the restaurant, or the pack this week.
My wolf determined to get her on her back and remind her who the alpha Is, takes a running charge at her.
She leaps out of the way at the last second and as I watch through my wolf's eyes she jumps over us, her back legs stretching out preparing to kick him even though he is already flying throw the air at nothing.
She kicks at a tremendous force, my wolf skidding as he slides into the ground, grass turning into mud,
As we hit the ground it feels as if our strength was taken from us for a moment...we were immobilised even as we were falling.
I force the shift, needing to contemplate what might have just happened. I sit up, my arm resting on my knees. I wasn't particularly out of breath but I was panting, I just went against the white wolf...even if only in playful training. Her wolf stares back at me on the other side of the garden. Did she even know what she just did.
Before I know it her snout is rubbing against my arm, as it burtes itself under my arm.
She was worried she had hurt me.
Me, an alpha wolf...one of the strongest I know. She was worried that she had hurt me, and quite rightly so, she had something I never expected.
She could fight this bond all she wants but her wolf was starting to accept me, even if she wasn't.
I stroke her white fur, tickling behind the ears as her wolf leans into my touch. This was certainly the
Kaia. No coldness, no witty remarks.

I hear a rustling in the trees ahead of us. This garden was secure but I can't take any chances.
"Shift!" I command, letting my aura wash over her once again.
She was getting stronger at fighting it but thankfully for now she does as I demand.
"Hector?" She gasps as she shifts landing naked in my lap.
